We had a great visit here! The food tasted delicious. Our server was kind. It did take awhile to get seated (and there was no line). This is a family run business, and it was good. We loved the burgers and the Chicken Alfredo! Also, the breadstick included with the pasta was delicious. The atmosphere here is calm, clean, and pleasant. The restaurant has a bit of a dark interior, but it is still comfortable. This is really a nice restaurant!! We would recommend you visit here!

Me and my family traveled to J’s this last week, for the first time. We were initially interested in going because of the size of the kids menu, but were surprised by how great all the food was! And for a great price compared to some of the restaurants in our home town 25 minutes away. The environment in the restaurant was cozy and felt like home. We loved the wooden dining tables, and our kids enjoyed the Easter decorations especially the Christmas tree. We were met with great service, having all of our questions met and help with the kids menu. We were a bit confused with what kids meals came with sides but our waitress helped us figure it out. We ended up getting the truffle curds as an appetizer, it was a smaller portion that what I thought but the quality was there, and we loved the tray with dipping cups on it. Our kids ordered the noodles with red sauce, side of mash and side of fries. And our littlest got the craft Mac and cheese. Great portions of the red noodles, they had no complaints and loved the seasoning on the fries. My husband and I got the honey bourbon burger, and the chicken Cesar wrap. My husband said the bourbon sauce was smokey and awesome. He got a side of the sweet potato fries, they were seasoned well and were thin and crispy. Best sweet potato fries we have had by far. My chicken Cesar wrap was delicious with a sharp cheese taste. I got a spinach hot bacon dressing salad as a side. It was a huge portion of spinach, probably enough for two people, with great chunks of bacon in the dressing. Loved it. To end our dinner or waitress brought us some dinner mints and got to talk to her about our special needs daughter, I loved the personal connection we had. We also loved seeing the owner Jay, walking around greeting us and others, checking on tables and saw him set a few as well. The environment was so friendly, even patrons at the bar. We can’t wait to go back again, and enjoy many more dinners at J’s with our family!

We recently had dinner here celebrating a friend’s 40th birthday. Mandy our waitress was amazing! She was so attentive, had the most wonderful personality and made our evening more enjoyable. The food was fantastic. The salmon was so good and the pork tenderloin was enjoyed by 4 from our party. Thank you for making this a very special evening for all of us.

My mom LOVES Js and since it was her birthday, I took her to her favorite spot. We ordered drinks and the spinach artichoke dip which was phenomenal. After that I ordered the mushroom truffle burger and my mom got the new spicy fried pork sandwich which she LOVED! James was helpful and courteous and our bill was extremely reasonable, to too it off, everything we got was exceptional! I would recommend this place to anyone in the area in need of a great meal and experience. Will be back!

We went here last night for dinner. We were the only table there outside of two tables that were leaving. We ordered an appetizer and the waitress did not come back until the appetizer was out to take our dinner order. We had to ask the other waitress (Diane? Deanne?) to take our order because our waitress was messing around in the kitchen and running in the restaurant. Finally we ordered our food. Our waitress did not refill
Our drinks or bring condiments that were ordered. The other waitress had to keep helping us. It took us an hour for a restaurant where we were the only ones there. We wanted a somewhat quick dinner for dining in, and were very disappointed. I honestly thought the waitress must have been in high school the way she was acting, but was told she was not. We loved the food but the service will keep us from coming back. It has horrible.

Today is our 17th anniversary. I talked to Jayson before today about customizing some appetizers for us that he doesn’t have usually on the menu and he made it happen for us! Our table was beautifully decorated ! The service from Megan was wonderful and the food was absolutely delicious! Thank you all for making our dinner absolutely wonderful ❤️

A very nice down home feel. The atmosphere is relaxing and the food is delicious! Our server Jake was very attentive and always checked on us the perfect amount of time. We ordered the prime rib and the Bourbon grilled chicken. Very delicious.

My crew and I were in town for work, and we stopped there for lunch. Melissa was our server, and she was awesome. Not only did she give us great service but it was also her birthday too.

I’m beyond impressed with this restaurant. None of the restaurants looked great in the Wisconsin Dells area, so we picked this one instead. Just 20 minutes out, it was so so worth it.
My fiance and I shared cheese curds, the Saturday night prime rib special, and the snakebite chicken with cajun sauce and jalapenos. Everything was perfectly cooked. The cheese curds were melty and delectable, the prime rib was tender and infused with flavor, and the pasta was superbly spicy. My side Caesar salad and my partner’s potato soup were some of the best we had ever had.
The restaurant was quiet for a Saturday night, so our server, Mandy, was extremely attentive. She brought our appetizer, salad, and soup out quickly after we ordered them, and our entrees came out a short while later. The entire experience was wonderful in every way.
We can’t wait to come back!

The atmosphere was welcoming and the customers were friendly. This was a family friendly environment. Traditional interior decor was both visually appealing and physically comfortable. Appreciated that the TVs were not overwhelming. A decent bowl of chili, and the pub chips were a delicious add-in for the crackers. It was lovely to be able to order some affordable sides to make a dinner. Prices for an entree are higher but anticipate they are solid quality.
