Do you like your ‘paws’ home BBQ? GO HERE! They are transitioning from a cafeteria/catering style setup to a restaurant so if they’re busy, ask.

We had seen the comments on the Wild101 post and decided to hike out to New Plymouth to try it. We were first in and I can’t believe more people haven’t heard of (or been to) this establishment prior!!! Though, for patrons’ sake, I’m glad it wasn’t busy but I don’t know why it isn’t.

The meat was slow-cooked to perfection— melt in your mouth. The gravy surrounding my tri-tip was so good that my shirt wanted a taste (sadly!). Clam chowder had clam in every bite.

The owners are SUPER amazing people and very hospitable– they own/operate so have some compassion.

While everything in my pictures is what we ate (though, I forgot to take a picture of the delicable homemade bread roll that was AMAZING), if it isn’t the season for something, it won’t be on your plate.

We left with a scoop of the homemade chocolate/cheesecake ice cream and it was a TREAT for the drive home!!!

Thank you so much!!! We WILL be back!

This is the best barbecue restaurant in Idaho! The brisket is the best I’ve ever had–it is melt-in-your-mouth good. Be sure to try their gold BBQ sauce on your pork. It is so delicious. Also, their mac and cheese is perfection, as is the Brazilian limeade. Don’t miss this gem!

We just heard about this place and decided to try it tonight. We had the brisket and ribs with macaroni and cheese and potatoes and beans. The servings were generous and the food was delicious. We ordered on Toast app. Pick up was smooth and the staff efficient and friendly. Highly recommend. A truly hidden gem!

Kindof a ” different” cafetetia- type setting but a delightful surprise when you see the food and know it was prepared with love. The owner, Jake, had a passion for cooking and it shows!
He’s providing a free Thanksgiving dinner for guests! ( I’m sure he might take donations). It can be tricky to find this restaurant but if you find the only multi story building in New Plymouth and drive around to the BACK, you’ll find it!
You won’t be disappointed.

We live here in New Plymouth and have seen their signs and posts on FB so we decided to try the pulled pork sandwich, the Texas toast is a horrible choice of bread for pulled pork as it is to thick and what tiny amount of meat you get is drenched through the bread, the pork tasted really gamy, Then we decided to try the gator and crawfish feed and didn’t care for the crawfish and the gator tasted like tuna!! We’ve had WAY better of all 3 before…don’t waste your money.

Ample space for diners tonight. The atmosphere was better than expected for the inside of an office building. Serving size was generous and food was delicious. Definitely recommend.

Not the best experience, trip tip burnt ends super fatty, was told that’s the way it is… Just paid $20 for meat we couldn’t eat, bread that was stale, canned beans and lukewarm potatoes, and wilted lettuce WARNING, food is not held to temperature.
