This was a horrible experience my fries were extra greasy and refried so stale, the pizza was old dough and so thin you wouldn’t even believe it was pizza. And to top it off I was told no Supervisor or manager was able to talk to me they don’t always work apparently so Definitely will not be going back and so not recommend it to anyone

I came from Methuen ( in literally the woods) about 6 or 7 years ago when a tree fell in my home, the house got condemned and demolished.y kids and i had to stay with my parents for 8 months until i found a home in Lowell. Ever since Lowell is my heart, my home … That’s when i didn’t know absolutely nothing about my neighbors and neighborhood. Sandwich King was one of the first place i went to try to get food while moving and they are so amazingly welcome! They answer my questions about my surroundings and omg, they can cook amazing!!!! I made them my favorite place to go and eat when i miss family! OH AND THEIR DESSERTS ARE OFF THE CHARTS! EVERYTHING IS SIMPLY DELICIOS!!! I promise you, you will love the food and the service!

Staff is very nice, but that’s where the good ends. Hubby’s American sub definitely didn’t have as much meat and cheese in it as other shops in the area, sweet potato fries were cold and soft, not crispy at all. But the worst thing for me was the chicken salad wrap and I can honestly say I’ve never in my life had chicken salad like this. Apparently, they mix breadcrumbs and seasonings with mayo and then they mix the chicken in with that. I had one bite and could not get past the texture as the breadcrumbs became like a spread, really weird way to make chicken salad. Seasoning in the steak and onion sub was a lot and odd. Also, their small is definitely not other people’s large. Would not recommend.

First time here. Never again. Ordered steak tip dinner medium rare. Got small cubes of steak over cooked with absolutely no flavor. (They obviously don’t marinade their meat.) It was actually terrible. Salad that came with it was scrap. I asked for Cesar dressing got nothing.
I also ordered 2 meatball subs with provolone. They gave me American yellow cheese. Meatballs were not as bad as the rest of the food but not great either. Sauce wasn’t bad. But it’s just awful to eat steak that hard with no flavor at all. Also the order they did not get right. Didn’t like the fact that their all cooking and touching my food with jackets on and sleeves all the way down. No one had hair nets. It’s just they have a lot to learn about cooking and proper hygiene and everything else. Probably in the wrong field. I’m sorry.

Sadly had to give this rating or even write this review! But this place has gone downhill the workers are nice always have been but the quality of food is just terrible they use to have decent tasting subs. But the quality of food has gone down the drain. I stopped ordering for quite a bit, I decided to give them another try last night to see if anything changed but unfortunately I got the worst steak and cheese sub I have ever eaten the sub was full of hard fat barely no steak it was very disgusting I could only eat a couple bites before I gave up a total waste of money! I definitely won’t be ordering ever again! This use to be such an amazing restaurant I thought the new owners would keep up the good quality of food that we use to get from this restaurant.

We were very specific about a food allergy. It was written on the receipt in our order, so we thought everything was ok. With the first bite my mother realized that the pepper she specifically asked to be excluded was there. We called to speak with the manager and the people who answered hung up on us 4 times before the manager actually answered the phone. Food allergies are very serious and it was very upsetting to receive such blatant disrespect and disregard. I am personally disgusted with how poor the quality of food and the customer service was in comparison to how good it was in the past.

I come here often with my bestfriend after a long day. At such an affordable price, they offer fulfilling and delicious foods! Whether for a quick bite or a meal, Sandwich King is one of the best spot to try in Lowell! If I move out of Lowell, I’d definitely miss this place.
