Showed up tonight at 10pm. Chicken wings were pink inside, asked for BBQ and ended up adding more at home and my kids tender weren’t done as if someone took out oil to early. Spent alot of money and down the drain it went. Won’t be back. Poor quality and service

I got take out from this location. Chicken was good, but a little dry. Biscuits were o.k. mash potatoes were amazing. Service was good, but not overly friendly. A decent place to grab some fast food chicken.

They were out of shrimp and Cole slaw when we went through. They gave me the Cajun fries instead of the slaw but didn’t tell us. Chicken is great otherwise but I can’t rate them higher than a 3 if they are out of several items and replace things without mentioning it first. Food quality is good otherwise and the fries were great. We visited the drive through so I cannot speak to the ambiance of the restaurant itself. Most fast food joints are standard dine-in with basic furniture and furnishings.
I hope they get their supply situation under control or it will wind up being another Vape shop or perhaps a pizza joint. Your food can be delicious but if you’re out of fan favorites people will move on to the next chicken restaurant.

I usually love Popeyes and stop by whenever I’m traveling. But this location near Tanglewood Mall was absolutely terrible. The food was hard, they forgot my sides, and the tables were dirty. The two people who seemed to be managers didn’t even bother to respond when I tried to talk to them they just ignored me completely, taking in Spanish and doing their own thing!! It honestly didn’t even seem like they understood what I was saying. Maybe doesn’t understand English?
I tried calling the store afterward, but no one answered. That says a lot about how this place is run. My money was completely wasted because I couldn’t even enjoy my food.
For comparison, the Popeyes on Airport Road is amazing fast, clean, and the manager there actually knows what they’re doing. Good communication skill and very helpful when I visited almost month ago. I wanted to go back to that Popeyes but as I said I was near tanglewood so I thought to give it a try but alas!!! I was dissatisfied. This Tanglewood Mall location should take notes, because right now it’s a mess.
I won’t be coming back here again. Very disappointed.

Ordered 1 sandwich combo and 1 sandwich, repeated my order 2-3 times to the girl taking my order only to find out she left out the extra sandwich I had ordered… waited like 15min for the order when I was the only customer there during peak dinner time. Got my order, told the girl I’m missing a sandwich, paid for the sandwich and finally got my full order. Tasted the fries and they were bitter and lukewarm… the fries tasted nasty and had bitter aftertaste. They gotta do better.

This location is the best, and I have visited a lot of locations. Even in New Orleans and by far this location on Franklin Rd Roanoke is the best I have ever been to. It is so clean and the employees are so nice it is so well managed. The manager is so nice and sweet to deal with. Thank you Popeyes for such a great experience.

First time I have stopped here. Went through the drive thru. The young man taking my order had a bit of trouble and I had to repeat my order 3-4 times and then I still had a small drink when I ordered large( was only charged for small) the potatoes with gravy were on point. Delicious. The blackened chicken sandwich well the flavor was good but the chicken was a bit chewy. It had been overcooked a bit and was a more like chicken jerky that a chicken sandwich. I know they have just opened with new staff and they are trying to get it together so I will definitely give them another go. I didn’t really wait long at the drive thru and the people waiting on me were very polite.
