Excellent typical Colombian food, a pleasant family atmosphere for sharing with friends and loved ones, and the service is special and very cordial. We’ll be back!
Excellent service from the entire team, from Miguel and the staff to the owners, Julián and his lovely wife. The menu is very varied, with dishes from Latin American cuisine; I especially recommend the Colombian dishes: they remind me of my grandmother’s recipes. I will definitely be back! Oh, and by the way, the salmon is impeccably prepared; my mother-in-law loved it!

I’ve dined in at J&P before and always found the food a bit too salty, though generally okay. Today I ordered a caldo de costilla, a traditional breakfast soup from the Cundinamarca region of Colombia. It’s usually a clear broth made from beef ribs, potatoes, and plenty of cilantro and green onions.
J&P’s version came with a much darker broth—likely from over-boiling or using a pressure cooker, which I’m pretty sure they do. Pressure-cooked meat has a very particular taste and aroma that just isn’t my preference. But beyond that, the soup had no cilantro, no green onions, and the worst part: one of the potato pieces had a rotten spot. I unfortunately bit right into it, which completely ruined the rest of the dish. Not that I would’ve finished it anyway—the salt level was off the charts.
Their prices are fair and their service is good, but I think they need either a different cook or at least some quality benchmarks. There’s a place in Boca Raton called El Patio that makes the best caldo de costilla I’ve ever had. Their food is ridiculously overpriced, and that’s exactly why I tried J&P instead. But now I know that, at least for caldo de costilla, it’s better to overpay than end up with what felt like salmuera con papa podrida.
My advice to management: try the same dishes at other restaurants, compare, and—most importantly—tell the cook to LOWER THE SALT. Customers can always add salt, but we can’t take it out.

This place was fantastic. The food was delicious, we shared La Bandeja Paisa with ground beef, and my boyfriend had their natural lemonade which he said it was refreshing and tasty. The food portions were big enough for us to share and the price was super affordable. The service was professional and friendly. We will definitely be visiting soon since moving to Boynton.

Finally, an easy decision: Five stars. Good “Latin” food, friendly, efficient service, decent prices, clean, easy to park. No complaints!
Located in a strip mall. I tried several things. A small shrimp cocktail was worth the nine bucks, didn’t love “pork belly” but that’s not their fault enjoyed my two fried turnovers (empanadas) and fried banana strips.

Every time we come here the food and service is consistent and welcoming. I’ve enjoyed many dishes. Pargo entero (whole fried fish) is very good. Good colombian beans. Good everything. I don’t know all their names…Mady, Miguel, Julian, Carolina and the team are the best. Great latin music.

Definitely some of the most delicious and freshly made colombian food I have ever tried, nothing taste stale, and the portions are decently priced, but aside of their amazing dishes, their friendly and humble customer service is the icing on the cake, its just simply wonderful, the fact that they remember your name if youre a repeated customer makes you feel like more then just a dollar sign and definitely make you feel welcomed at their restaurant. I would definitely recommend this newly opened restaurant to anyone in the Boynton Beach area and or beyond, take the drive if needed, it worth the drive, trust me! Keep up the amazing work J&P!

Clean and nicely decorated restaurant. Food was exceptional, recommend the tostones with guacamole for starter and chicken with cheese and mushroom sauce for entree. Tried fried yuca and loved it. Keylime pie in a jar was a creative and sweet end to the meal. You have to check this place out.

The food at J&P is so fresh and flavorful! We enjoyed the empanadas and tostones so much and the generous portions left us with some to take home. Really thankful for the great service, even when seated outside!
