Jolene was absolutely awesome-she was the only server for a full house-she was hustling but didn’t get stressed and she was friendly! The food was amazing as well, but go for the Bloody Mary-they are a meal! You don’t need to order food after one of those! I think we will become regulars!

It looked scary driving up to. Going down the dirt road, we thought Google maps failed again.
Seriously after hesitation and wondering what we were getting into, we found he best reuben, and French dip we’ve had in a very long time.
Its only 230-330 in the afternoon and the atmosphere is good, the waitress was really good.
Regardless where you’re from, make the trip here! It well worth it!

..From a southern boy Hands down one of the best barbecue places in spokane. The bartender Olivia went above and beyond taking orders for drinks from multiple tables around us and slinging food. Being able to joke and keep the bar flowing showing the true care for the workmanship. The bar was clean and presentable. A little more lighting would be nice but overall a nice hidden gem of a bar. Definitely will be back thank you!!

My boyfriend and I absolutely love this place. We go here at least twice a month. Great food, good prices. They have a cute outdoor area with a stage, they have bands that perform here. Odd location, but totally worth the trip to Dog Town. Their sandwiches are our go too. They are a great price ($15-$19) which is basically the same price I’ve paid for fast food. I definitely recommend their baked beans as a side dish (they have brisket in them and are so good). They make their own BBQ sauce too (very good). Their sausage bites or the
rib tips are great appetizers too, haven’t had any bad food here. Highly recommend this cute little place that’s off the beaten path.

Brisket nachos. This is a genuine OMG! Their entire menu is amazing and the staff are incredibly friendly and know something about fantastic service. Plus they have entertainment! What else could you want in a restaurant? This is definitely going on our list of top restaurants in Spokane.

UPDATE: Was contacted by establishment so they could try to make it right. Increasing rating by one star for good customer service. I hope to give you guys another try down the road, maybe for breakfast instead! Good luck!

I am going to try to leave my most honest review, but I was very disappointed with what we got vs what we paid. I feel a tad duped because the menu didn’t describe size or how many it would feed. Let me explain:

We got the big combo, 4 meats, 4 sides, 4 deviled eggs, and added 4 more deviled eggs. At 2$ each, they should be good right? It tasted like someone was heavy handed with the salt! We couldn’t finish them. We picked brisket, ribs, pulled pork, and sausage. The meat was good, that is why I didn’t rate 1 star. The sausage and brisket were very good, but the BBQ sauce provided was odd. The dark one was extremely sweet, and the golden one was very tart, like vinegar almost. I didn’t use it. The pulled pork was nothing but fat.

The sides made me sad. We picked coleslaw, mac and cheese, cornbread, and beans. The sizes of everything was pitiful. In my mind, if we paid $93 for BBQ, it should feed me, my husband, and our 3 small kids no problem… the sides were smaller than my hand, no joke (see pics). The cornbread was one square slightly bigger than the palm of my hand. Macaroni wasn’t very cheesy. The beans tasted okay, but more like chili than baked beans. I don’t like coleslaw, but my husband tried it and said he didn’t care for it.

All in all, we’re going to need more food, so we’re very sad that we spent that kind of money and we need to go get something else to eat. The meats were the best, but we had to use our BBQ sauce to pair with it. Maybe once this place is around a bit longer we can give it another try, but might I suggest putting descriptions on portion sizes in the menu. When i think of a side, I don’t think of a 1-cup serving, and I also expect to feed my whole family for $100.

Went there because of the amazing reviews on food finders, and we were highly disappointed. It was truly disgusting. Others might find it great if you’re already drunk. Food is always amazing when ur drunk. But we were just there for lunch, it was warmed up leftovers. There’s always a first and last time. The bacon was good, but the rest was not including the bloody Mary was disgusting. I was scared to use the catchup .

I was sad to see Dogtown Taphouse gone and always nervous about an unknown quantity. No pix, no reviews, nothing on the Yelp. That being said, it took no time to convince me my fears were misplaced. Just the smells coming out of this place were worth the trip. Menu had a nice selection of meats and of particular interest, they had Italian sausage on the menu as opposed to the traditional German. Since we wanted to try a little of everything, we opted for the combination platter. It was 4 different 1/2 pound servings of meat and four sides. Obviously we had the brisket plus ribs, sausage, and pulled pork. Each was lightly, perfectly smoked and for the most part moist though the brisket was a tad dry for my taste. Three sauces came with, a tangy red, mustard, and traditional sweet sauce. Each one awesome in their own way. I don’t typically like mustard sauces but I’d eat this one all day and most of the night. Sides were each very well done, too. Coleslaw was traditional mayo based with a nice zing. Mac & cheese was plenty tasty and plenty cheesy, too. Potato salad was very traditional but lacked salt & pepper which was easily remedied. Cornbread was just okay firm but dry–needed some honey butter or something. It was a $78 platter enough for two plus leftovers. Not the best value but the flavors easily compensated. Would def eat here again and again!!
