I had seen Forno D’Oro advertised on Facebook quite a bit. I was in the mood for pizza and happened to be close by, so figured I’d stop by and see what they have. They were really nice and friendly. I loved the service. The menu doesn’t have your standard pizza options, but still a decent selection on their regular pizza combinations. One of the first things I noticed (after there was no “meat lovers” or supreme pizzas) was there was no wings offered either. Odd when pizza and wings go hand in hand. The pizzas are pretty small….more personal size. They only offer 9″ pizzas. You can usually tell how well a place is on the standard everywhere pizza…..pepperoni. So I got one of those and the D’Oro pizza. It has pepperoni, sausage, red onion, garlic, and red bell pepper. They use a brick oven to cook the pizzas and fresh ingredients.

My boy usually likes just pepperoni and not much else on his pizzas. This time though, he wanted to try both pizzas. So we each got a couple of pieces from each (again, very small pizzas). He tried the pepperoni first and then the “everything pizza” (D’Oro) as he called it. He thought the pepperoni was okay, but the D’Oro was much better. I had to agree with him. The flavor wasn’t there where it needed to be for the pepperoni and with the mix of flavors on the D’Oro…it was definitely better. The pizzas are more of a thin crust (which I’m good with since I like thin crust…you get more flavor that way).

All in all, the pizzas were well cooked and had a good flavor. I’d say more sauce is needed (it was pretty thinly laid on it) and bigger pizzas. Also, need to look at getting wings. A pepperoni was $12 and the D’Oro was $15. Would I get it again…for the price probably not. They do offer a military discount.

We were looking for something new in the area and my wife found this place on line.turned out to be a great choice. We ordered 3 pizza and garlic knots. I had beef and pepperoni and the flavor was spot on. My wife and her friend shared saled and a margarita pizza and my oldest daughter the chicken BBQ with ham. There was nothing left and everyone said they would do it again. Our friend that went to pick up the pizza said the staff was very friendly and the place had a nice atmosphere.

For one, the staff was incredibly friendly. Two, the pizza delicious. Now I did just get a simple pepperoni, but I swear you can taste the difference in the fresh mozzarella cheese they use. That pizza would be perfect without toppings. The quality was clear. Third, the gelato was out of the world. I got the sweet cream, after the kind girl let me try all three flavors they had available. It was so creamy, yummy, and honestly a refreshing finish to the meal. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Supporting small business is ALWAYS worth it.

If I’ve never been to Italy, I can honestly say that Forno D’Oro must be the closest I’ve ever come. From the very first bite, I found myself thinking, this is what authentic Italian pizza must taste like.
The crust is perfectly balanced—light, airy, and beautifully blistered with just the right amount of char. The sauce tastes fresh and vibrant, and the ingredients are clearly high quality and thoughtfully prepared. Every bite feels simple, clean, and absolutely delicious—exactly how I imagine pizza would be served in a small neighborhood pizzeria somewhere in Italy.
Beyond the food, the atmosphere and service make the experience even better. Warm, welcoming, and passionate about what they do, the team at Forno D’Oro delivers more than just a meal—they deliver an experience.
If you’re looking for authentic, unforgettable pizza, this is the place. I may not have made it to Italy yet, but thanks to Forno D’Oro, I feel like I got a little taste of it right here.

Rarely am I disappointed enough to actually leave a review, but I have to say I feel quite deceived on the types of pictures they use to advertise vs what I received. I thought I was going to get Neapolitan style pizza. Light fluffy crust, with a crunch on the outside.

What I got instead was border line flatbread type of crust. I get that food can’t look as great as the pictures, but when all your advertising shows one style and you’re actually selling another, it just feels deceptive.

I will say, that while the pizza wasn’t bad, it definitely was not worth the price considering how small they really are. I’d gladly pay their prices if they were an actual Neapolitan style pizza place, but I can’t recommend them in their current state. I hope they work to improve their food.

Visited about two weeks ago with my girlfriend and enjoyed the trip.

Was pretty empty when we went so the service was quick and efficient. Food came out quickly with little wait!

I ordered the D’oro and my girlfriend ordered the Margherita. Some of the best pizza we’ve had in Cartersville, flavor was good and they weren’t stingy with the toppings. I’ve had better pizza, but for the price and flavor that it had, I can’t complain one bit.

If you’re in the mood for some solid pizza, Forno D’Oro is definitely the place to visit!

Drove from Marietta to test this place out. Nice vibe and Scarlet was very nice and friendly. Picked up the Garlic Knots and the pepperoni. My sis got the special of the day (spin-dip) and my wife got the prosciutto. She did say she should have created her own for $11.99.

The best pizza in town! If you like a great thin crust with your choice of fresh toppings, or try one of their special recipe house originals, you don’t want to miss this one. The garlic knots are perfection, served in a buttery sauce with a marinara dipping sauce! The gelato is especially yummy too! The service was exemplary! It was an all around positive experience.
