This was my first time here and it was a pleasant surprise. I was just expecting a normal dive-bar vibe but the bartender treated us like we were the only customers in the bar. He asked each of us what we liked and made specialty drinks for us to try. His recommendations were excellent.

For last 3yrs drove by but never stopped till lastnight. Being a small bar it truly has a lot to offer. If you want to go somewhere to relax, have a drink this place you want to go. Truthfully, I prefer Friendly Tavern over all other local bars/pubs in town.

Absolutely perfect! I wanna call this a dive bar but it’s so much more! Pop’s, the fella running the place is my first interaction, he’s professional, straight and kind. Frozen pizza…but it’s food. And it wasn’t bad. You need some food when you drink. They have drink specials. I like the ones on the sweeter side. I like drinks that have vodka, tequila and rum. I don’t like bourbon, whiskey, or gin. Since I don’t know drinks very well, I always ask what liquors are in the cocktails.

I only gave the food a 4 cause I have not had thier pizza but we love the place!
First found it 2 years ago while visiting Yuma and wanted to go to a Tavern. It didn’t look like much from the outside but once you go in, its a great place to visit and drink a cold beer, wine or a cocktail.
Bill, the owner is here most days at 5pm.
Whenever we are in town we try stop for a visit. They have dart league here so that’s fun to watch and one pool table.

Every now and again you find a diamond in the rough and this bar is it. Owners Son and father are the most genuine people I’ve found in a bar they shake your hand they remember your names your drink and they are once more authentic. Sometimes it’s enough to know your drinking hole actually cares. Five stars for me being from California my old bars could learn a thing or two. Thank you guys for being you

Pop’s bar. This guy is incredibly welcoming and serves possibly the best old fashioned in the USA. Bourbon is his passion as is hospitality. Give Pop’s your flavour profile and he will smoke your Old Fashioned better than you have ever had.
Pool, darts, music and a great crowd. Unassuming from the outside, but nicely decorated inside!
