We have been eating at Sues for over 20 years. In the past two years it seems that the business is slipping. I’m not sure if they just don’t have the drive in it like they used to but it’s been very spotty while dining here. Tonights burnt pizza is just one issue, to allow it to leave the kitchen like that? The chef that made it couldn’t tell it was slightly overdone? We will continue to keep trying it out hoping that it gets better, but we won’t visit as often as we did. This is the second time in 3 months time that we had issues with food quality and in the past 2 years we have noticed service getting slower and not as attentive as well. I’m a lifelong Saugerties resident and hope that it’s just a fluke but Sues make notice of the issues as it’s being talked about in town and we hate for that to happen to a long time area business.

The pizza was 4 out of 10. This pizza was a cheese pizza and it was like a sauce pizza, and the over all thickness felt like 6inch, horrible. Some slices were 40% cheese barely any cheese.

Sue’s accommodated our club dinner and although the service was a bit slow, everything came out on point and delicious. I had a fantastic Cobb salad and munched away with superbly grilled chicken and the eggs were unbelievable…didn’t know food could be so excitable especially since they make their own pasta! Everything was so fresh!! thanks to everyone for a great night out! Hopefully we will be back!

Excellent food with generous portions! I think their Caesar salad is one of the best I’ve ever had, the beer was terrific and my main course was outstanding! My only complaint was that I couldn’t finish it all…
The owner was a really nice guy who came by to chat for a while, at least I think he was the owner… He offered to buy my friends and I a round as well. Will definitely be back!

Great Italian food. Who would know it from the name or outside. Service was excellent and I had the best eggplant rollatini I have ever had. Sauce has to be homemade as it was splendid. Too full for dessert so that’s up for the imagination or my next visit!
