The food was delicious. Their fried chicken is some of the best we have ever had. The fried okra was so good that the next time I eat there I will have it for both of my sides.
Our server was friendly and made sure our drinks were topped up and that we were happy with our food. This restaurant is now at the top of our list.

Nice little spot hidden somewhat had been doing my 10hr reset in the parking lot near them for over a year never saw it till today. Price was great for the servings service was good didn’t really know when walking in weather to sit or go to register to order. Down to earth good folks there food was good fish was a little bland and cooked way to long. Over all I will stop again for the homie feel

We were driving to Albany from Columbus, while passing through Dawson we saw Wayne’s tucked back in the corner of a shopping center. With us all being hungry we decided to stop and give it a try.
I am glad we stopped! I enjoyed the best cup of restaurant coffee I’ve ever had! My link sausage was grilled to perfection. My scrambled eggs were equally perfect. The grits weren’t lumpy or soupy; again perfection achieved. I was a little disappointed with biscuits. They were cold, and not very flavorful.
The breakfast buffet is small, but was fixed with the usual breakfast foods. You do have the option to order from a menu.
If you’re driving through Dawson or just looking for somewhere new, go have breakfast at Wayne’s!

Great tasting meal, good chicken, cornbread, mashed potatoes, fried pork chops, steak burgers, and mac and cheese. Great customer service to. Homestyle cooked food also collard greens, and other great sides. Keep up the great service!

Yummy! This is a great small town restaurant! We had the hamburger steak and vegetables. Awesome!!!!!!! This was a nice stop along our trip back home. Great service. Sweet people.

Pros: Good food, good portions, good prices even nowadays, and a friendly wait staff.
Cons: With how close some of the tables are, you might find out more than you want to about whose next to you. Overly loud talkers can dampen your enjoyment.

I ordered the tilapia and the nice salad for dinner. I asked for the fish to be with Cajun seasoning and they prepared it perfectly! Went back to eat lunch there the next day and ordered the 10 oz ribeye steak with salad. The steak came to the table and was a very large one inch cut ribeye steak cooked perfectly to medium well! The decorum in the restaurant is a bit run down and could use a facelift otherwise I would have given it five stars.

Food very good and the service is excellent. Prices are very reasonable as well. Only complaint is that the potato salad is not made fresh. If your going through Dawson Georgia be sure to stop here.
