We absolutely loved our experience at Casa Tradicional Cocina Mexicana! The atmosphere was amazing — warm, welcoming, and full of authentic charm. The food was truly traditional Mexican cuisine at its best — every dish was flavorful and beautifully prepared.
The staff made the experience even better with their friendly and attentive service. It felt like dining in the heart of Mexico!
I wish I had known this beforehand, but they actually offer a shuttle service to and from neighboring hotels — such a thoughtful touch that makes visiting even easier. We’ll definitely be coming back on our next trip!

Amazing food and great service! We had the molcajete and fajitas, both were delicious. The staff made the experience fun and welcoming. The harpist was amazing and really added to the vibe. It struck the perfect balance between a local spot and a nice sit-down meal without feeling touristy or pretentious. Felt like hanging out with friends while eating amazing food. Highly recommend. Can’t believe the resorts don’t recommend it more since it’s so close!

What an amazing restaurant and dining experience! The entire staff is so welcoming and made us feel like we were royalty. Our dining experience with Casa Tradicional Conica started with a private ride to the restaurant. Our driver turned out to also be our server and he was absolutely fabulous. So friendly, great recommendations, and just a good time. We enjoyed beautiful music in a private, air conditioned room. Just this was amazing because it is currently 83 degrees and humid out. The food was to die for. The best lobster we have had ever in a molechete. You must try!!!! If you are in Punta Mita Casa Traditional Cocina needs to be first on your list for an authentic Mexican, delicious dining experience.

Recommended by resort, went far above all expectations. Sochi the hostess was wonderful. My wife and I were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and they treated us like royalty. We ate food we had never heard of before, all delicious. Ricardo, the harpist singer was a rare find. His wonderful music made the night. Thanks to all, we will be back.

This restaurant is located behind the brightly painted Punta de Mita sign. They have salsa on Friday nights. Their menu is a high price point compared to some of the other restaurants in the area. In my group, average meal cost was in the range of 600-900 MXN/person. The restaurant’s ingredients are fresh and all the food was really incredible. The portion sizes are quite large. Highly recommend the salsa and guacamole as an appetizer and I imagine you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. My crew of people were all happy with the food and our experience. Definitely give this place a shot if you’re looking for really good food with finer service.

An absolutely incredible experience! The restaurant picked us up at our hotel and drove us the 5-10 min drive from the Conrad to the restaurant. The staff were incredible – we felt like we were right at home. Our waitress was so kind, Oscar made delicious table side guacamole and salsa and Ricardo the harpist played beautifully. The food was delicious and the drinks too! We had an amazing time and will be back next time we visit Punta Mita. Thank you for your warm and generous hospitality!

My family and I absolutely loved Casa Tradicional! They provided transportation to and from the restaurant, making it so easy for us; and from the moment we walked in they treated us like we were the only guests they had. Colorful decor and light fixtures hung from the walls, and a gentlemen by the name of Ricardo played the harp and sang beautiful melodies – he was amazing! And the FOOD!! From start to finish the food was unbelievable- so fresh, plus the chef came out multiple times to present different dishes, and it was apparent he puts effort, joy and pride in his culinary creations. Cannot recommend this restaurant more! If you are visiting Punta Mita, do yourself a favor and eat here!
