Napoli’s Pizza is one of those dependable, family-owned Italian spots that Rockford has been enjoying for decades. From the moment you walk up, you can tell it’s local and established — and that same consistency shows up in the food.
The pizza was excellent. The crust had the right balance — sturdy without being too thick — and the sauce is what really stands out. It’s rich, slightly sweet, and tastes homemade, not something poured out of a can. That same sauce carries into their pasta dishes and gives everything a deep, classic Italian flavor.
The spaghetti and meatball was hearty and satisfying, and the fresh salad and garlic bread rounded it out perfectly. Nothing flashy — just well-made comfort food done right.
They also offer catering options, which makes it a great choice for parties or office gatherings.
If you’re looking for authentic Italian food in the Loves Park area with real flavor and long-standing local roots, Napoli’s is a solid go-to.

Not very welcoming when entering their establishment. The customer service could be better. I ordered a sausage with extra cheese and it was a disaster, a straight disappointment when I got home to a cold pizza with six pieces of sausage that we luckily had found when even with extra cheese the sausages should be big enough to see through the cheese and be all over the pizza. My family did not enjoy the pizza. Sorry Napoli’s but you guys have to do better or get BETTER cooks who take pride in their work.

Okay so obviously this is an Italian restaurant. However, if you’re going to offer it on your menu, make it right. My ‘bacon’ cheeseburger had no onions, no flavor, and the ‘bacon’ was actually bacon bits. The jalapeño poppers were good. The ranch is disgusting too. I’ll revise if I try pizza and that’s good. Do not recommend.
UPDATE: Tried the pizza. It sucked. First off, circular pizza is cut in triangles, not squares. Square pizza sucks. Second, it was doughy and had almost no sauce. Very much don’t recommend now.

Listen up! These are the people YOU need. I have had them cater a few events now so I can tell you all about them based on a true track record. Napoli’s Catering was prepared, on-time, an absolute to dream to work with from planning to clean-up. The food was fabulous! Beautifully presented AND delicious, which is usually the opposite with other events I’ve been too. The bar tenders were lovely and professional at all times. The entire staff brought a real feeling of warmth and caring to my events and we ALL felt it. The work they put into set up and take down to clean up is so impressive. This is not just some job for these people, it’s real quality. One of my best experiences in Rockford has been working with Frank’s team- awesome!

We’ve lived here one month and tried four pizza places. This place had the most yummy sauce of the four. Their pizza was killer! I highly recommend.

The pizza crust was too hard and salty. There’s not many options on what type of crusts being offered for the pizza. The pizza didn’t have much flavor. I could barely taste the toppings. For a vegetarian pizza and the price it could have been better.
