Unfortunately my entire family was unhappy with their food. The tortillas were the only thing that tasted good or decent I suppose. When I called to order the person answering sounded like I was interrupting them and I should have taken that as a sign. When I arrived the young man was pretty kind just seemed overwhelmed the lady didn’t Ben speak she just looked at him and said window… that was pretty rude. Then going to the food.. would not recommend at all. The grilled onions aren’t even sliced they’re huge chunks it’s weird..like a quarter of a red onion piece on a taco or in a burrito is strange. Nonetheless the flavor wasn’t there. We will stick with hidalgos truck which I think is a bit cheaper anyway and we have never been dissatisfied
From now on if you’re ordering from a new taco truck I suggest ordering a side of beans and rice to see how that is seasoned before you order a meal for your entire family and waste money

I’ve been trying to find a good taco truck in Merced and finally came across one. I bought the combination plate and I really enjoyed the rice but the tacos de asada were phenomenal, the tortillas are hand made and they remind me of Mexico tacos. My husband got the birria tacos and the birria was really really good. I definitely recommend coming here.

I was skeptical because I don’t normally buy from food trucks but since I was craving a burrito I took the risk and it was delicious. Trust me… it wasn’t because I was hungry! I know what good burrito tastes like. I’m from where they make them. Totally recommend the burritos. Sorry I ate the burrito before taking a picture lol

Just tried Chavez tacos and there asada, cabesa, and birria was delicious, not a big fan of the buche but there homemade tortillas and customer service earned them a 5. Plus, is very affordable…will definitely be back! And try more of their menu..
