A bright, modern restaurant with indoor and shaded outdoor seating serving delicious meat-based dishes at reasonable prices.
At lunch time on Labor Day, the place was less than half full. Service was friendly and fast. The $15 tri-tip BBQ sandwich was in a fresh, slightly sweet bun generously filled with super tender and flavorful thinly sliced beef. The right amount of coleslaw gave it balance and juice. The $5 beef tallow onion rings were fried just right, with crispy coating and soft onions. You can definitely taste the tallow scent, which is a step above those from other places.

The Dos Chorizo Chico order was actually pretty good. They are definitely not full sized but good for breakfast. At 8 dollars it was a little pricey, since full sized breakfast burritos cost 9 to 10. I enjoyed the flavor and the customer service was great in the morning. The salsa was not very spicy, it reminded me of Pace tomato salsa, not to my liking but overall the burritos were good. I would buy again.

Man I love this place! I surf in the morning and come in here to see my favorite people and have some amazing food! I had the burritos and the breakfast sandwiches and they are excellent! Don’t even get me started with that bone broth. Matt and Jeff always take great care of my friends and I when I come around. Thank you for having a great establishment with good employees and good that speaks for itself. Quality

Amazing breakfast. It’s a small kitchen inside a store. Size doesn’t matter because their coffee was great and the food was great. Definitely expect to wait for a normal cup of Joe, but other than that, it was a quick and friendly service.

Always wanted to try their farm raised beef from Brandt from Brawley ,CA. So I ordered one Tri-Tip and one Drug Store burger. We opted for the Gluten free buns which we knew wouldn’t be as soft and fresh as a regular bun or roll. The meat is fantastic and the Tri-Tip was my favorite! Wish there was more meat than bread but next time maybe I will ask to double the meat and pay extra. The butcher meat section is really nice and they have some really nice size Tri-Tips you can take home fresh and packaged. They were out of marinated Carney Asada meat at the time so I will come back and try that to take home on the next visit. Good to know where your meat is coming from local farm raised near El Centro!

this place is great. i cannot stress enough that i genuinely think this place is amazing to go to & i go often. i love steak, especially for breakfast, so my favorite thing to do is grab a book & pull up. i always order the dutch steak & eggs with an extra side of potatoes & a coffee & sit outside to read. sometimes i swap the dutch steak out for a nicer cut like filet mignon. the ambience is nice because it’s rarely packed in the morning & the music isn’t blaring outside so i can still tune it out to read & eat.
unfortunately there’s one huge issue with the way the order gets rung up. some employees ring up the order by substituting out the dutch steak & adding whatever cut i ordered, which seems normal. other times though, i get a worker who doesn’t know how to do what i ask & they ring it up however they think it should be done. it ends up causing super inconsistent prices & it gets to a point where i’m over explaining to whoever the cashier is for the day that they’re doing it wrong. the last time i came in, the cashier rung up each individual item that comes with the steak & eggs & charged for each one. i couldn’t even say anything because i was so dumbfounded by that decision & i never even know how much my order is supposed to cost anymore because they all do it differently, so i just paid & walked away because i still wanted to enjoy my day. i shouldn’t have to keep explaining to people how to ring up orders correctly, or at least the way the manager (i think he’s the manager?) rings it up.
again, this place is incredible & it has huge potential to blow up even more. i’ll never not come back because i won’t find anywhere else to give me what this place does. but please, whoever runs this place needs to have a conversation about consistency.

A new favorite place of mine!!! Their Machaca was phenomenal and so was their flank steak- super tender. Don’t forget to try their crazy good chocolate chip cookies and their sourdough bread. Everything was amazing. I would eat there every morning if I could.

I was completely blown away with how amazing Ranch 45 was! From farm to table restaurant with locally sourced meat. I had the pleasure of enjoying the Dutch Steak & Eggs and the Avocado Toast…both dishes exceeded my expectations! Not only does Ranch 45 have an amazing menu, they also came to play with fantastic coffee! I will be back for sure.

good vibes but the food was not pleasant 🙁 so much grease and lack of seasoning, just tasted like drenched in frying oil. the portion sizes were tiny for the price and the steak was cold and unevenly cooked – some parts rare in the middle and some parts fully well done. my latte was also sour and the cold brew was only filled 3/4 of the way and was $6!!?
