We were looking for a spot that served Ramen and Sushi and this popped up on my page. I’m so glad it did because the food was amazing! The rolls were fresh, delicious, and had massive flavor! The ramen was also very delicious. The service was friendly and quick and the restaurant itself has a nice ambiance. There are booths that have curtains for privacy and booths and tables out in the open. We ordered the Dancing Dragon Roll, the Butterfly roll, and the spicy tuna roll. During the lunch hours you can get a chefs specialty roll and a simple roll. It really is an excellent deal! 10/10 we will be back!
We came back! We decided to bring our three teen boys to get the sushi boat! They absolute loved it and it came with many different kinds of sushi! The flavors were amazing and the boys destroyed it in about 10 minutes! The chef chooses what goes on the boat and if you want anything different, there is an upcharge. We stayed with the chef’s choices and it was all very, very good! I recommend trying it if you have the capacity to eat it all!

On a whim, we stopped in for lunch and sat at the sushi bar. We’re regulars at the Mount Airy location and always like it, so we weren’t expecting anything dramatically different. Wow! were we ever surprised by the difference. The sushi is fresher and more tastier! It’s just noticeably better than what we get at our usual spot. The sushi chef was friendly, easy to talk with, and even gave us a couple of extra pieces to try, which was a nice touch. It is open and bright with good natural light, clean and simple without feeling cluttered. It’s a comfortable spot that doesn’t try too hard. The Mount Airy location is closer for us, but this one might end up being our new favorite. Worth the drive if you’re looking for solid sushi. We’ll definitely go back.

We took time to decide the order as we strictly don’t want seaweeds, beef, pork. Finally ordered the food. Order for delivered to table in good time, all of them were good. I wish the Chili oil would be there on table as complementary along with sauce. Taste wise they were good, we had to order chili oil for little spicy.

This place is only two miles from our home, so we are regular customers. Most of the time we are ordering appetizers, seafood salad, and varieties of sushi rolls; beer and wine. Loved everything we have ordered since the opening of the restaurant. Baked sushi were great. This is the restaurant on our minds when we do not want to drive too far and know we will be happy not only with the meal, but with the service – always kind and polite, helpful and respectful. Very bad experience. Ordered Chicken Pad Thai togo today and we got it as shown in the picture. I bet no one in the world could have a couple of spoons of this disgusting pad thai. Kids could use it as slime but I put it in the trash. I have never ever seen such noodles before. Chicken smells. This is not the first bad experience, had the same bad experience previously. Don’t go or never order pad thai from this place.

I’m really happy with this restaurant. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating—they even took off food that I didn’t like, even though I had ordered it. That was really sweet of them and made the whole experience feel very welcoming. I truly appreciated their customer service and would definitely come back again.

Really nice full spectrum Japanese restaurant. Rare find in Carroll county. They even have hamachi kama. Great selection of sushi and ramen. Love this place.

Going downhill. Slipping big time on freshness and taste. Tried to leave out a $17-sushi-roll ingredients (fish eggs, fish, sauces). Opened bag before leaving takeout thankfully. I used to love this food. Will never return. Also noticed that they are adding a ton of rice to the rolls to offset their sushi cost. Sashimi is half the size now too. Definitely not fresh and taste was very very lacking. Such a shame.
Update !!!!!!! —->. I gave it one more try recently but sat in the restaurant to dine so The rating goes from 1 star to 5 stars, good comeback Katana! Atmosphere is cozy, nice booths and decor, great service. The manager even checked each table. Everything was fresh – squid salad, seaweed, and sushi rolls. I particularly love their no-rice rolls as not many places offer this, naked roll is the best! The sashimi was so much better quality this time too. I’ll be going back probably not carry out though.
