Used to really enjoy jimmy John’s. But recently they have not been the best. The last two times ive order my order was extremely late. The driver with orange hair even admitted she was slacking today. You guys should add GPS to drivers to ensure us customers feel like we are getting our orders on time. I order for lunch and ive had to skip my lunches twice now.

This use to be ac great location but the last few times I’ve ordered the order is always wrong one way or another. I always check the bag to see what I was shorted. Today everything was there but all our toppings were wrong. I ordered 2 wraps and a sandwich. The wraps had none of the modifications we requested and the bread on the sandwich was hard as a rock. Unfortunately 2 out of 3 of us didn’t eat our lunch today. I’ll be taking a long break from this location.

The food was bland with no sauce and the employees move really slow? Like I could understand if they are busy and short staffed but I went with one other customer, who placed their order the day before for pick up and still had to wait almost 30 mins for a regular sandwich….

Tyla or Kyla is the manager I sw, she had more than enough on her plate today lol I ordered online for delivery, an hour later I was in tears lol where was my food? I called and had to repeatedly call, so I was thinking the store was closed. I got her, she was overwhelmed, but she was STILLLLLL friendly, apologetic, she was dealing with people quitting, doordash drivers who he was just RUDE to me as well, I wanna leave this review in hopes she sees it. UPDATE:. March 16, 2022-I still love Jimmy John’s. Today, I redeemed a free advocado spread reward from the app. I also tried the new Zesty Garden Turkey Club Sandwich, which is a available for a limited time. It tastes great. I wish I would earn more rewards for free sandwiches. Also, just like everything else, the prices have gone up
UPDATE:. January 17, 2023- I redeemed a reward for free chips or pickle, so I ordered free chips, Salt and Vinegar Chips. Since I ordered here last week, I decided to try the Pepe, which is ham, Provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on wheat bread. It was delicious, as always. I also had a Diet Coke, to finish it off. I also took part in a challenge, in which one orders twice between the 15th and 22nd, then they get a free sandwich reward in the app. I ordered Turkey Tom last week and with my order today, so I got my free sandwich. Great!
UPDATE:. January 24, 2023-I got my free sandwich, a Club Lulu,, with turkey, bacon, tomato, lettuce, and mayo, along with Salt and Vinegar Chips, and Diet Coke. Everything was delicious. I just wish Jimmy John’s would bring back their Thinny Chips, which are low calorie chips. As someone who watches their diet, it was good for someone like me.
UPDATE:. April 8, 2023-I decided to try a new sandwich, so I had a Bootlegger Club Sandwich, which has turkey, roast beef, tomato, lettuce, and mayo. I added guacamole to it. They even brought back the Thinny Chips, which I love, because they are low calorie, so I ordered that and a Diet Coke. It was all delicious!
UPDATE: May 11, 2023-I redeemed my birthday reward for a free sandwich, so I decided to try a Beach Club Sandwich, along with Thinny Chips and Diet Coke. A Beach Club Sandwich has turkey, provolone, lettuce, tomato, avocado spread, and cucumber on it. It was delicious and worth being free.
UPDATE: May 30, 2023-A few weeks ago, I got a surprise. I received a text on Messenger from Brittany Welker, who is the GM of the Jimmy John’s in Richmond. She liked my pictures and reviews of Jimmy John’s on Google Maps, so she reached out to me to offer me a free meal. I finally came in today and told the boy who was working about this and she was giving me a free meal. He said he heard about this and took good care of me. I ordered my usual: the Turkey Tom sandwich on wheat bread, Thinny Chips, Guacamole, and Diet Coke. The only thing different was that I ordered their Fudge Chocolate Brownies. It was delicious, and so was the entire meal. Jimmy John’s in Richmond is a family run business, and as a former employee of a family run business, we should support family run businesses. If there is any other restaurant that I have written reviews and posted pictures of that wants to give me a free meal, this is an example of that you are welcome to do so.
UPDATE: July 6, 2023-It has been a while since I ordered from here. I wanted something different, so I decided to try one of their wraps. I ordered the Jalapeno Ranch Chicken Wrap, Thinny Chips, Guacamole, and a Diet Coke. I was afraid that the jalapenos might be so hot that they might cause me to run for a glass of milk, like recent things I have ordered from other places, but no, they were just fine. The food was delicious, as always. I know management enjoys my pictures and reviews on here. I may give them some extra exposure on Threads!
UPDATE: September 23, 2023-I decided to try some of their new items, so I had their Tuscan Wrap. With all the meat and cheese and veggies, it was delicious! They have added salads to the menu, so I had their Home style Potato Salad. It was great! I noticed on the menu they had a Pesto Bow tie Salad, which sounded good, but it was not available on the app. I thought management would like to see a picture of one of their new food items.
UPDATE: November 13, 2023-I had the Turkey Tom sandwich, the Home style Potato Salad, which was so good the last time, and Diet Coke. It was all delicious.

I’ve come by here multiple times in the last month and they claimed they’re out of bread, especially if you come at night, I find that kind of suspicious. Seems like they don’t want to serve anybody, When you come through the drive-through yet to repeat everything twice because they’re not paying attention or listening.

Customer service was less than par. Things were not explained well to us as we ordered and you get as though changes to your order were an inconvenience. The wheat bread is not in sub form and the crust was very hard. As we were sitting there were two people waiting to order. They took one order and ignored the second. They asked the guy later if he was waiting on his order. He stated that he hadn’t ordered yet. They walked away. She then proceeded to get on her phone. She then went up to him again and asked about his order. He again stated that he hadn’t placed his order yet. Someone in our party asked about Mayo. She proceeded to set a cardboard box on the counter and said here is the Mayo. Don’t know if she didn’t get trained well, if any of her customer service is being monitored or what, but clearly needs work.
