When you order Chicken with Garlic Sauce, you’re actually ordering vegetables with garlic sauce, with a bite or two of chicken. The lady at the counter looked at me funny when I grabbed a handful of soy sauces. She didn’t like that.

I don’t understand why there are negative reviews for China Hao. I was craving hot and sour soup, so I stopped in and I’m so glad I did! The woman who took my order over the phone was so nice, and the woman who gave me my order (exactly 20 minutes after I ordered it which is how long she said it would take), was equally as kind. The restaurant looked clean and was well decorated. The food is delicious! I had the hot and sour soup and shrimp fried rice. I will definitely be back!

My wife and I live in an area of Horry County that has a number of Chinese take out and indoor restaurants. They don’t come close to the food at China Hao
The portions are generous and everything is very fresh and tasty. #1 hands down in Myrtle Beach in my book.

The service was okay and atmosphere was really quiet because no one was in there eating except for my partner and I. The food quality and taste was horrible. I’ve had better food than that in marine corps boot camp. Never again! The chicken was chewy and bland and the rice had a very weird flavor.

The food is pretty good, looks nice inside, staff is friendly, but the menu needs to be updated. It states lunch comes with fried rice and a can of soda. When I picked up my order which was a lunch special I asked if I got a drink and they said no. I said the lunch menu said it came with a drink but she still said no. I didn’t press the issue as a can of soda isn’t my biggest concern, but I would recommend the menu be updated to avoid future confusion. Otherwise enjoyable.

Terrible. Ordered General Tso, described as “chunks of chicken”, was nothing more than fried breading. Never ordered General Tso where there was not so much as a drop of sauce on the tray, completely silver in color. Broccoli was tasteless. It went in the garbage.
