I love when I get the occasional opportunity to pass through little Poland, since I’ve lived in Connecticut. Today was the first time that I tried a taste of Poland, and it almost brought tears to my eyes. The flavors, textures and selection of dishes were absolutely delectable, and reminded me of the traditional Polish food that I grew up with. The staff was very friendly, and the restaurant was very clean. The prices were totally reasonable and worth every penny. Highly recommend!

We stopped here to have dinner. It was a little late in the day, so it would definitely have been better had we arrived earlier, but it was still very good. The prices were reasonable, and the staff was friendly.
It is a decent place to stop and get some authentic Polish food in the Little Poland section of New Britain.
When you go here, you go up to the counter and get your food. There are a few tables where you can sit down to enjoy your meal.

Taste of Poland is beyond anything anyone would expect from a this place. The food is hand made based on traditional recipes. All ingredients are fresh and authentic. It’s common to see many members of the surrounding Polish community go there for their lunch or dinner. The personnel working there is incredible. Super nice, knowledgeable about the food and helpful off you are not too familiar with Polish food. Last but not least, the cost is very reasonable. You can have a real nice meal for $20 or so. Location is also very good. Wasn’t park nearby.

One of the best eateries in Connecticut.
Healthy, hardy, wholesome and delicious
Definitely worth the trip, try my favorite (soup of the day) always hot, and or any other soup. Please come hungry and leave satisfied, don’t forget your veggie sides and leave room for a variety of amazing desserts.

Don’t let outside fool you. Place really have great food, already cooked. Good to dine in or take out. It’s been years since I got some polish dinner. Me and my Wife were in the area so we tried it. It was really delicious, brought some memories.

For me it is the hidden gem in the polish home style food in New Britain with a Warsaw atmosphere. If you like or wish to taste polish style food it is good place to start.

While you wait in line, you can choose to dine in or take to go!

Authentic polish classics. Amazing pierogis! “Loaded” sauerkraut and chicken meatballs were delicious. The place to go for authentic polish food!

Very tasty food, a bit small on the portion size, especially the polish sausage. They handled long lines better than any other vendor at The Little Polish Festival. And since it was not directly on the main drag, they had many shade covered tables. The best way they has a little bit of everything so you don’t have to search for stuff

5.18.24 I ordered 250 cheese and potato pierogies and bigos with Kielbasa for 150 people for a church event, and it was all absolutely delicious. Folks were coming up afterward, saying these were the “best pierogies” they’ve ever had. Regarding the actual restaurant, there is street parking and a few spots in the back. The staff is bilingual, so don’t worry if you don’t speak Polish. It’s mostly ‘take out’ and catering, but there are a handful of booths inside too. They sell all sorts of items. I attached a photo of their menu and also a short video of the trays of the pierogies and kielbasa. Smacznego.
