They treated me very well super nice. Felt very welcomed. After you order you get a ticket and go outside to get your BBQ from the grill guy. This was my biggest turn off. It was FLIES everywhere and on everything. But hey I was invested at this point. Ribs were very tender but I wasn’t a fan of the sauce, to be honest. If they switch the sauce they will have a perfect rib. Mac and Cheese was a pass for me also barely edible. Get some fly traps, get a fan to move air, and be a little more sanitary please food inspector would shut yall down if he seen what I seen. I want to see you all do great. Being a visitor in town I wouldn’t come back or recommend this place.

The restaurant doesn’t seem to be a sit-in restaurant but maybe it’s set up differently on the weekends. Either way we planned on getting the food to-go. Definitely get the full rack of ribs – best bang for your buck and it’s more than enough for a family of four. In total we purchased the full rack of ribs (with the bbq sauce) mac-n-cheese, potato salad, beans, and the peach cobbler. I highly recommend getting the side of beans with your ribs. It’s a perfect combo.

They call what they serve soulfood? Shame on this place. This place is the absolute worst. 1st off I came in at 5pm which I thought was dinner time and they had almost nothing on the menu. How does a soulfood restaurant not have chicken, ribs or turkey wings? I ended up ordering the catfish (the only option left) with macaroni and cheese and green beans (since there was no collard greens either) The fish tasted like it was fried in old dirty grease. The macaroni and cheese was flavorless and tasted like it was straight from a box. They would have done better giving customers Kraft macaroni and cheese. Seems like they settle for the no frills brand. The green beans also flavorless. Along with the crappy service I was pissed that I paid nearly 15 dollars for a meal I ended up trashing. There is nothing wrong with hole in the wall joints. I’ve eaten some of the most delicious meals in some Hole in the wall places but this place gives small restaurants a bad name. Don’t bother wasting your time or money.

I had stopped going to this place for a while,because they never opened on time. My mom was craving their ribs recently, and we were in the area. The young lady up front is not very pleasant, but the gentleman at the grill makes up for it. The ribs are always delicious, and he has a great sense of humor!!

Saw the BBQ smoke from the street and knew I had to stop while visiting. Ordered and paid inside, went outside to get my food. Was given ribs directly off the hot grill which made me excited. Once I opened the container I realized the pitmaster overwhelmed me with sauce. More sauce than meat, it was running outside the container. After one bite, the ribs taste as if they were boiled before being placed on the grill. No grill taste at all. Sad and disappointed.
