The staff was great my serve Jermaine was amazing. You can tell things are more organized here, my food was great as usual but everything tasted much more well prepared here. Will definitely visit again! I got the trifecta my fav!
This location is pretty good as it’s near some shopping so it’s easy to add it into the day or other plans.
Jermaine was our server and he was super helpful though maybe a little nervous which is understandable for a new place. We also ran into a server we were familiar with from another location who was helping with training and is super helpful as well!
Seating was quick, ordering was a breeze. Jermaine even made a suggestion of the Elevated Egg Sandwich which I’d never really paid attention to before. It was really good, but I forgot to ask for my egg to be well rather than runny. I let the yolk run off and was able to enjoy the sandwich. The potatoes it came with were a bit salty for my taste, but I won’t attribute that to the kitchen as they’re consistent across all locations I’ve visited. My iced tea was refilled regularly and the staff seemed to be working well as a team. I’ll definitely be visiting this location again when I’m in the area.
Thanks again for the great service Jermaine and Sierra.
Our server greeted us quickly and offered coffee right away. He took our drink orders and had them back within just a few minutes. We ordered the Power Wrap with fruit, a kids French toast, and the Barbacoa breakfast tacos.
When the food arrived, we noticed there was only one roll of silverware for the table and the French toast didn’t come with syrup. However, our server brought both items promptly when we asked.
As for the food: the kids French toast was moist — maybe slightly on the “wet” side — but it held together well. The Power Wrap was also somewhat wet and a bit soggy, though the flavor was good. The Barbacoa tacos were flavorful, but also quite wet and dripped steadily while eating. On the positive side, the fresh fruit and berries were perfectly ripe and delicious, and the side of black beans with the tacos was flavorful and filling.
One additional note: the restrooms are designed as four separate, all-gender single-use restrooms with locking doors. This was a thoughtful touch for privacy, companion assistance, or helping children.
Beyond the food, the staff really made the visit special. They were attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. It’s rare to find a spot where both the service and the kitchen are performing at such a high level consistently. You can tell the team here really cares about the guest experience. It was easily the highlight of our day—five stars all around and we will definitely be back!
My husband — a former two-time Mr. Alabama keeps it clean and dialed-in with his breakfast choices… meanwhile, I fully embrace whatever elevated creation is calling my name.
This time it was indulgent in the best way: peppermint mocha, Million Dollar Bacon, Florida French toast, blueberry pancakes, and perfectly poached eggs. Everything felt fresh, flavorful, and just the right amount of decadent.
Matt, our waiter (only two weeks in!), was an absolute delight. Friendly, attentive, and already delivering great service like a seasoned pro.
First Watch continues to be a staple for us reliable, welcoming, and a place we’ll always come back to.
