We’re a barbecue joint featuring live music and dancing, housed in the old legion hall in Deer Isle, Maine. The old Legion Hall hosted music, dancing, life cycle events and more for multiple generations. By opening in the hall, we hope to provide music and food to rekindle fond memories and build generations of new ones. Come in for an experience that is fun and relaxed, bringing good music and good food together with good people.

Really great BBQ! We had the ribs and pulled pork. I’m not a huge BBQ fan but I loved it. Better than what we had in Austin even. The staff and owners could not have been nicer. We got takeout early before they ran out, then came back later for a drink and love music. We will definitely be back!

The ribs and the brisket are really flavorful. My Argentinian husband, a meat lover, raved about them both. The sides are decent. Wide selection of drinks. We were also lucky enough to enjoy music in celebration of 1 year in business. Definitely a place we will frequent when on Deer Isle!

We came on a Sunday afternoon. Everyone was a little grumpy when we arrived, but moments into earing, we were transformed. My partner said the burger took him back to the very best backyard burger in his life. My son said we have to eat there every night. The ataff are incredibly kind. We didn’t hear a performance, but it is a great space for music and for food.

I went with 4 family members including 2 vegetarians. We were amazed at the quality. Apple crisp was the best any of us gad ever had. Great beer list also. Only thing missing was the crowds (and ribs were sold out) . We will be back.

This is a great little gem. The people who run it are lovely. The food is really stellar and the vibes are shabby chic but great. The entertainment is great. This place is an all around good time.

I was so excited to try their BBQ meats. I ordered pulled pork and brisket potato salad corn bread and beans.
The pulled pork was smoked but had no flavor in the meat. It was fatty and Greasy. tasting. The Brisket look good. Smoked flavor was their a little, but was dry and plan. Potato salad was confusing Mediocre at best with pickle juice and mustard left Watery. Beans were granny left to be desired. Corn bread was plane, no flavor but didn’t cumble.
I did take home and I had to use my bbq Sauce.
I would not recommend this place because of the food. I will not wast my money here again.

Had the pleasure of visiting a short time after they opened. Still some details they’re ironing out, but meat is awesome and it’s a friendly vibe. They know good BBQ. (Though a wider selection of sauces would be great.)
