There’s a walkup counter where you order, food is prepared quickly, your order is called and you walk to the counter to pick it up.
The atmosphere is very simple but clean. Eating inside is available at a high top counter, no tables inside. There are several tables for outdoor seating.
I was only disappointed in the price of a can of Diet Coke…$2.50. My meal was reasonably priced except for the soft drink.
You’ll pay at the counter as you place your order, given a screen to add a tip (not sure what I was tipping for).
Baklava: Great. Dairy free. Walnut paradise.
Samosa: We got the Veggie and Beef. The picture doesn’t do it justice. It’s delicious.
Chicken shawarma: make it dairy free by removing the oasis sauce and adding hummus. The hot sauce is palatable fire
There were a few people waiting for their pick up orders when we stopped in, we all ordered and waited about 10-15 minutes before it was ready.
I ordered the lamb platter and it had decent portions of lamb, rice, and peppers and onions.
It was so flavorful and filling and I’m happy I finally got to try Oasis Mediterranean Grill
The main downside was the customer service—it just didn’t feel very welcoming, which took away from the experience.
Also, their “No refill” policy feels like they are severely penny pinching, especially as we ordered a lot of food and left a 20% tip for a fast-casual dining style where we order and retrieve the food from the counter. We received a stern stare and got questioned from one of staff members as we had not seen the sign and honestly, did not even think it would be problem in the first place (maybe that is our bad).
Plus, their drinks cup size is very small and to expect customers to pay another $2.75 for a small drink is greedy in my opinion.
Maybe the place is mainly focused on pickup orders, so we might’ve expected more than they usually offer for dine-in.
But overall, the food itself was great!
