Terrible Experience and Zero Accountability

What a complete waste of time and money dealing with unprofessional and incompetent employees. I ordered two pizzas today and one of them came completely wrong. It was not even my order. The app would not let me fix it or request a replacement so I called the store to get it sorted out.

From the start the employee who answered had an attitude and acted like my issue was an inconvenience. After having to explain the situation multiple times she finally agreed to remake and resend the pizza. When it arrived it had mushrooms on top and no Philly steak which was exactly the opposite of what I ordered. I tried one slice just to see if there was any meat and it was nothing but mushrooms.

I called the store back three times and each call disconnected right after the Domino’s greeting. At that point I was out of patience and decided to go down there in person which I should not have had to do as a disabled combat Marine veteran who specifically orders delivery for a reason.

When I arrived one employee tried to help but said only a manager could process a refund. I asked for a refund for one pizza the delivery fee and taxes since I had to come in myself to fix their mistake. The manager refused claiming their meat is weighed and that she could not refund me until the next day. She even pulled out two tiny pieces of meat from one slice and tried to say the pizza was made correctly.

She was not wearing a name tag did not identify herself and spoke with attitude the entire time. I have worked in retail and if a customer returns something you refund them immediately not tomorrow. That is completely unacceptable.

This is now the second time I have had to physically return food to this Domino’s. It is unbelievable that employees earning twenty dollars an hour cannot properly make a pizza or take responsibility for their mistakes. Terrible food terrible service and zero accountability. I will never order from this location again.

Aside from the manager making absolutely no attempt to rectify the failure of customer service presented over phones, the lady who took my call, whom I CANNOT name because they wouldn’t give me the name for complaint, she could not answer simple questions in regards to the online and over the phone comparisons. When I called more depth to it I got told to just order online. When I asked for a different rep she ended my call. This is not the first time I’ve had issues with them. I’ve had to stop delivery because they fail ALWAYS to provide requested and purchased material to the proper address and then when called out about it I’m told, well you can come
And get it!!!! WHY DO I HAVE TO LEAVE AND GET IT WHEN I PAID FOR DELIVERY!?!? Aside from that when asked because I didn’t want to pay delivery I was told it was still charged. This woman argued me and wouldn’t stop to think one second to be properly informed on what I was asking. I’m sorry but if you don’t wanna do your job then don’t work there. Night shift is absolutely terrible and have absolutely no sense of customer service or care for what they do. I hope that the phones were recorded because when I called back to make the complaint after my order, I could hear her in the background talking all kinds of mess. Even cost James his tip for being the ONLY ONE TO TRY AND SALVAGE THE PURCHASE!!! Terrible group of people with terrible service.

We pulled up as the food was being prepared. We marked here waiting for the food to come out of the oven and get a quality check and be walked out to our car for curbside. No worries waiting for the food to cook. Food marked as in oven. Then out. Then the food was marked as ready. Then delivered for curbside. But it wasn’t. We waiting another couple minutes waiting for someone to walk out, but no. I walk in and the associate is confused when I say I’m here for a curbside that was marked as delivered but I never got it. My car is right in front of the store front doors to make it easy for the staff to find with hazard lights on. My pizza was to be square cut, was not. Staff unhelpful and lazy. Please do better or do not offer a service that you are unwilling to do. Aka curbside or square cute.

We recently tried different large and extra-large Brooklyn-style pizzas from Domino’s Pizza in Fallbrook, and while the thin crust was enjoyable, we were consistently disappointed by the lack of toppings on each pizza. Regardless of the selection, the pizzas had very sparse toppings, with only one or two pieces of sausage or onion per slice and a disappointingly small amount of feta cheese. Moreover, the slices were unevenly cut, adding to the overall dissatisfaction.

Despite our repeated requests for double cheese, the pizzas consistently arrived without any noticeable increase in cheese. This lack of attention to customer preferences left us feeling unsatisfied and questioning the value for money. Even with the use of coupons, the pizzas seemed overpriced considering the meager amount of toppings provided.

On a positive note, Domino’s Pizza in Fallbrook does have the advantage of staying open during late hours, which is convenient for those seeking a late-night meal option. However, this convenience alone cannot compensate for the subpar quality and disappointing service experience.

In conclusion, our experience with Domino’s Pizza in Fallbrook was below average. The pizzas consistently lacked ample toppings, failed to provide the requested double cheese, and were delivered with unevenly cut slices. While the availability during late hours is noteworthy, it falls short of making up for the overall unsatisfactory experience. We sincerely hope that Domino’s Pizza takes customer feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements to deliver a better dining experience in the future.

Major ordeal at no fault of my own, taking 29mins to order and pay for delivery order and still not getting order correct. After all that, when i tried to communicate the ridiculousness of my experience with a supervisor, I was hung up on. I did nothing but try to order and only got a headache. Super stupid!!

For the last couple weeks Domino’s has been running an insane promotion that you can get ANY size pizza, ANY toppings, ANY crust style…..just $9.99!!! You want a large New York style pizza with 8 toppings? You want a large Pan style pizza with extra cheese, extra sauce? You want a thin crust pizza with literally every option that they offer? All $9.99!!! The first time I ordered it online I was waiting for the catch where they say certain options aren’t available, or its only that price if its ordered a certain way….nope. Ive ordered 3 pizzas just this week, all very different and all loaded with options, same price every time. And while an offer like this obviously won’t last forever, it definitely allowed me to see what Domino’s is capable of, and just how good their pizzas are. Because I haven’t ordered a Domino’s pizza in a long time, its been years. They’ve definitely stepped up their game and are no longer the little lesser known pizza company that was popular when I was a kid. If you haven’t tried them in a long time, give them a shot. By far the worst experience I have ever had in the food industry. I’m still trying to figure out why I had to argue over the phone/in-person with the rude bald headed manager who insisted that my CUSTOM 2 TOPPING PIZZA that I only selected Philly Cheese Steak as my ONE topping selection, must be made as a “Philly Cheese Steak Speciality Pizza” with chicken, onions, peppers, mushrooms AND PHILLY CHEESE STEAK, because I quote “they are not like other dominoes and this is how we make it”. I had to argue with the manager that the pizza I ordered was a custom pizza. The items I selected for this pizza was, HAND TOSSED CRUST, MARINARA SAUCE, CHEESE, AND PHILLY CHEESE STEAK as my ONE topping on a CUSTOM TWO TOPPING PIZZA. I don’t know why you would put CHICKEN, MUSHROOMS, ONIONS AND PEPPERS on a TWO TOPPING PIZZA, and still refuse to make my order because again, I quote, “they are not like other dominoes and this is how we make it”. I don’t know if the manager was having a weird ego trip or just hates his life. But I wish better for him and hope nobody has to go to dominoes and argue with this man about the items you personally selected online to be on your pizza, and for some reason they just decide to add more items because “that’s how THEY make it”. A CUSTOM TWO TOPPING PIZZA but they can just go ahead and throw on whatever toppings they want. Hope the manager gets fired.
