The staff there are very friendly. I asked for a recommendation from the waitress on two different options and she was correct. The Mexican Burrito is large and stuffed with excellent cooked food. Also tried the house hot sauce. Mmm great kick. Will be back to try more food.

The food was amazing, it’s hard to find a restaurant that has that old family feel. The food was authentic Midwest food reminded me of Amish quality food. Melt in your mouth biscuits and gravy, real handcased sausage links, fried potatoes. Made with love and family values, I know that sounds strange but it was a whole package restaurant. We will be there every Saturday I think it’s gonna be our new spot for our weekly breakfast date. If I could sum it up in one word, I would just say “YUM”.

My sister & I like to go to small restaurants that aren’t chain restaurants.
We went here and found a quaint family business that had excellent service. The food was plentiful and delicious. The price was reasonable.
The booth seats were a bit old & not real comfortable but they have tables with chairs. Yes, chsin restaurants have better seating but the food & service more than make up this.
I suggest you give this restaurant a chance.

This is a casual cafe with a menu of standard, basic American breakfast / lunch items and simple but good Mexican fare. We were there for lunch on a weekday, and the place was about 25% full. Service was excellent. Food was fine – well-prepared, prompt, and reasonably priced. The place itself, although “established in 2022” according to a sign, shows definite signs of being considerably older than that and of having been renovated with care but on a very modest budget. One bench at our booth our was torn but well taped over; the walls were painted paneling, etc. definitely had the flavor and ambience of a local hangout. My Mexican order of tacos was very well prepared and not heavily spiced, although I was provided with two kinds of hot sauce. My companion’s American breakfast was also good. Recommended.

Update: It has been 6 months since I posted my review and it has not changed. We have eaten here several times and never disappointed. Still our go to place.
We have lived in this neighborhood for 20 yrs and this was the first time we ate here. The staff was friendly and food was delicious. We will definitely be back again soon. I had the taco plate and my husband had the club sandwich. Everything was delicious. The staff was attentive.

What a beautiful little joint! I loved how Tucked away in a quiet corner this place is. Service was wonderful, waiters were all polite and nice. I had the Mexican omlette and it was filling and delicious! Perfect place for the perfect breakfast. Parking is right in front of door entrance street side and at the back. Very reasonable prices and delicious foods!

I love a good “have a seat anywhere” local restaurant. We heard great thing and had to try out the new Royal Cafe. We got various different dishes, some breakfast and some lunch. Our waitress was wonderful and took great care of us, anticipated our needs before we knew them. The chocolate chip pancakes were full of chocolate!! And they had a real syrup dispenser. Two others got biscuits and gravy and said it was perfect, the eggs were bland though and undercooked. But the omelette was very, very good. The corned beef hash was good, much like anywhere else. The turkey but was great, but huge. The burger patty was definitely frozen but it was good, all around a good burger. Their coffee was perfect, the had real sugar cane sugar packets and French vanilla creamer, as well as half and half.

This café is located in a residential neighborhood, nice for the neighbors who are hungry and don’t want to go far! First visit today and very satisfied with my meal, and I love that they had a big cup of coffee available “to-go”!
