Really disappointed. I’ve been going to Mamas since the 70s. As a kid who grew up in NY, and moved to Ft Worth it was my favorite pizza. This pizza was a soggy mess, overloaded with cheese, not enough sauce, not enough time in the oven. The Mamas buffet up in Plano is still delicious. This was just sad.
On the upside I will say that they made the pizza I asked for and added it to the buffet, and the place was clean if empty.

I think my teen years were the golden age of pizza buffets, and I’m always looking to return to that time. Sadly, most of the good buffets are gone, leaving us with the formulaic CiCi’s, and little else. I’m happy to report that this fairly new location of Mama’s pizza bucks the trend, not only with good food, but also with friendly employees, and lots of character. Let me point out that many of the Mama’s locations are owned by completely separate companies, so each should be evaluated on its own merit. I do frequent the location in Plano (different owner), and that one is good, but there’s another one elsewhere in DFW that gets horrible reviews and I wouldn’t go near it. The salad bar is small, but fresh, with plenty of options. The pizza bar was tended well, with basic options, like sausage or pepperoni, and also more exotic fare like barbecue chicken and a cinnamon dessert pizza. Ashley was super friendly, and answered all my questions about the history of the restaurant, and why the place is decorated with super-cool, working trains. She also made a point of asking customers what kinds of offerings they would like to see on the buffet. I highly recommend you give this place a try… It is super bright and clean, and a comfortable place to grab lunch!

I paid almost $50 for a “medium” pizza that was barely the size of a small. I ordered directly through their website. When the driver arrived, I asked about my drink and he shrugged, saying they only gave him the pizza and told me to call the store.
I spoke with someone named Daniel, who was very dismissive even after I told him this was my first time ordering. He claimed I should have received a text saying they don’t carry the drink. If that’s the case, why advertise it on the website and still charge me for it?
Overall, a very disappointing experience. Don’t order online. I should have paid attention to the reviews before placing my order. Never again.

This is just a typical family friendly pizza buffet. I got a chance to eat here during lunch time. The lunch crowd was medium, music inside was normal. They got some TV screens around the place. The pizza was basically a typical buffet style pizza definitely better than a CiCi’s Pizza not to down CiCi’s. Definitely if you’re in the area and you’re looking for some pizza during lunch time especially this is a good option.

Pizza & wings were just okay. Did go on a Monday night. Nothing special. I think there wasn’t enough sauce or something . No disrespect i preferred one of my frozen pizzas or chains. Especially for the price . It was nice to see the variety of sizes . I probably won’t be back. Customer service was great. Had lots of space for dine in great for birthday parties for kids.

I have eaten here a few times and the pizza is fantastic. The crust is really awesome. It really makes the whole pizza even better tasting than most of the other pizza places. I enjoy eating there and will continue to purchase pizzas in the future.

I drove 30 minutes to get here since it’s the nearest location to my apartment. I grew up on the original Fort Worth location so I was worried this one wouldn’t be quite the same. WRONG! It tastes exactly like the Mama’s Pizza I grew up on! It was hot and ready when I arrived and just as delicious as I imagined!

I love the Plano location firstly. As I understand they are all independently owned and operated. First time to this location and it was a let down truthfully. Went for lunch, pepperoni pizza was cold. Literally waited 10-15 min for the next pepperoni pizza to come out. The cheese wasn’t fully melted, so they obviously rushed it. Also the crust was really not very good.

Been here several times and it tastes exactly like the Plano location, except it’s clean and large. The train and skyline are a nice touch.

Delicious sauce, loads of cheese, and the garlic-y crust keep me coming back every time. Love it so much.

While the pizza and salad were pretty good, and the girl was pretty friendly, it took 40 minutes for an 8-inch pizza. It was not busy at all. I was the only one there. Total cost 15. Pizza, side salad, and soda.
