Nice little restaurant in downtown Springville. The hamburger steak was seasoned really good. The mashed potatoes and okra were also right on. The side salad was pretty big and came with two ranch dressings and crackers. The service was good and the price was reasonable for the portion sizes. I will go back and try other foods on the menu. Gumbo with hush puppies and the sandwiches were also good. Portion sizes are large.

My family stopped by here to eat lunch on a Saturday. There was no wait. I ordered the whole catfish platter. The catfish was the best I have had since I was a kid. The serving portions were ample. My wife got the grilled chicken salad and it was very good. My girls got a popcorn shrimp platter, chicken tenders basket, cheese steak sandwich, and chicken tenders salad. All was good. The onion rings were a little soggy like not done all the way. It is nestled in historic, downtown Springville which is lovely. I would definitely recommend eating here.

I had ate numerous times at The Ark over in Riverside so an opportunity came to try this new restaurant in Springville and compare. My meal consisted of a catfish fillet, cole slaw, fried okra, hushpuppies and tea.
Fried okra and hushpuppies were very good and cole slaw was good. I was not impressed with the catfish fillet. It was not greasy and was lightly battered but it just did not have a taste. I suppose if I had ordered a large seafood meal I would have got a different impression but I was looking for a basic lunch meal.
Service was good and the atmosphere was tops as it was inside one of the old historic buildings in town.

We meet a group from our church for lunch there. This was our first time there. My wife had the catfish po-boy with sweet potato fries. They were able to grill it for her rather than having it fried. She liked both. I had the hamburger steak with coleslaw and lime beans (side of the day). All of it was delicious. Although the Ark is about 30 minutes away from us, we will be back.

This afternoon we ate at the Ark in Springville. My wife got the Philly cheese sandwich and she thought it was very good. I got the butterfly shrimp with onion rings and salad. My food was good and the side salad exceeded my expectations for a side salad. The shrimp was very good and so were the onion rings.
My meal was $19 and I believe the sandwich was $10.

We went to the Ark for supper on a v ry quiet night. The server was great and had several meal suggestions. I loved the alligator bites I had! I was expecting only collard greens, so when the “seasoned greens” turned out to be collard and turnip, it was a great opportunity to try something new!

The Ark catered our Chamber event tonight, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park! Everything was right on time, the food was hot and fresh, and they had all utensils and drinks provided — which made the entire evening run smoothly.
Kyle and his team did an outstanding job from start to finish. Professional, organized, and easy to work with. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
I would highly recommend The Ark to cater any event — they truly delivered!

Enjoyed my first meal at The Ark in Springville last night. We had a party of 6 and were sat immediately. The service was great! Our server, Lanie, while stretched thin, and taking care of quite a few tables (we only saw two servers for the entire restaurant and the servers were also seating customers) she was super sweet and did a great job. We order appetizers (onion rings and fried pickles) and those came out quickly and were good. Very soon after ordering our appetizers, we ordered our entrees. It took about 50 minutes for our food to come out. In fact, I noticed that there was about a half hour period where NO food came out. Several tables around us were seated after our orders were placed and still received food before we did. We ordered fried shrimp, catfish and chicken fingers, no steaks that would take longer to cook or anything. My dad asked our sweet server about our food and she informed us that the kitchen was run by kids and that she had been checking on our food and that it would be up in just a moment. Within 5 minutes our food was being delivered but my meal was missing. Our server let me know that the kitchen made an error and left my food out. Our server looked like she was going to cry, as she told me my food was not ready and she offered me a free dessert. I told her not to worry and I could wait. I felt bad for her! It seemed like the kitchen was poorly managed, possibly not managed at all, which made it hard for poor Lanie to do her job. The food was great!!! I will come back! Just wanted to convey that there seemed to be a lack of management, which very negatively impacted the visit.

Lots of parking. Very clean inside and out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This was our first visit.
When ordering Fried Catfish: a Filet is a large piece of fish, Nuggets will be that Filet cut up in small pieces, Strips will be a Filet cut into three pieces. So if you order two Filets you will get 6 Strips. Just wanted to clarify that.
The Fried Catfish is a generous amount of flaky fish, lightly battered, fried to perfection and barely to not seasoned. I enjoy good Catfish but this was not the best I have tasted, definitely needed salt. The mashed potatoes and baked beans were good but didn’t seem to be fresh made.
I did absolutely love the cheese curds, there is nothing better than fried cheese. Do order this for an appetizer, you will not be disappointed.
The Chocolate pie is served in a plastic carry out container, and it was very good but it was not Chocolate Silk Pie, it was old fashion Chocolate Pie with Meringue.
No one else really raved about anything they had so I won’t comment on the other dishes.
We probably will not visit this restaurant again.

Called at 7:35pm to place a single meal togo order and was told they were closing in 5 minutes while google states they close at 8pm. Food has been wrong or mediocre the past 6 months anyways and workers always act like they aren’t busy enough when in there walking around with cell phones in hands. Please update hours or have reasonable excuses to tell your customers when they ask why y’all are closing early.
