This place is great, especially where it’s located. There’s not enough steakhouses around this area, and the quality of the food and service was outstanding.
The salad bar was fantastic with plenty of options offered, and you can go up unlimited times from my understanding.
My only complaint was the atmosphere. The big open room that you enter when you first walk in doesn’t offer a lot of privacy for families dining. Also, where we were situated, we were right beside a walkway that saw a lot of traffic to and from another room. However, the owner of the restaurant was in fact walking around and making conversation with every table, so that was cool to see.

Our Deaconess Ministry of Second Baptist celebrated our bimonthly birthdays, and I chose to take them to Nate”s Steakhouse.
We had a great time, delicious food, and great service.

Had such a great experience at Nate’s the other night! The creamy spinach chicken is to die for and the servers were extremely sweet. Nate himself was out on the floor and was being very attentive. Salad bar was amazing as well, with so many options!

Great customer service! Greeted and seated promptly. They have nightly specials. Wonderful salad bar with chopped iceberg lettuce or a fresh spring mix. Lots of toppings to add like olives, okra, carrots, ham, chopped eggs, cheese, etc. Macaroni salad, coleslaw, pineapple chunks, peaches, etc. Numerous appetizers. Steaks, pork chops, chicken, catfish (whole and filets). Check out their online menu for a full list. We chose the fried mushroom appetizer and the 8 oz ribeye ( it comes with the salad bar and 1 side) and a baked potato. The mushrooms were hot and crispy. Huge basket. The steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked as requested. The baked potato was hot and fluffy. Served with whipped butter and sour cream on the side. There was also a tasty little roll.
They also have desserts but we were so full, we didn’t have any room. We had to get to go boxes for our leftovers since the portions were so big.
Overall a wonderful meal. The customer service is great- from the owner, to the hostess, waitstaff and the servers. Highly recommend.

My wife, daughter, and myself were out enjoying a beautiful afternoon. We decided a good dinner would really cap the day off well. We found this restaurant on Google and decided to try it out.
This was one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten. Cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. In addition to the delicious steaks, their salad bar is second to none.
We arrived right after a large party had been seated, but service was still quick and attentive. While the food did take a little bit to arrive, the owner was on top of it with a table visit and sincere apologies, even though none were needed. The quality of the food more than made up for the wait.
I cannot recommend this place enough, and we can’t wait to go back soon for a second visit.

Things are a bit more homespun at this local treasure but that’s why we love it so much. No fancy airs or jackets required. Just good eats and perfectly grilled, tender steaks served with a hospitality that’s rare to find these days. Nate himself walks the floor making sure everyone feels welcomed and is well taken cared of.
We were in town helping family move into their new home when a local policeman recommended Nate’s as one of the best places around. We certainly agree.

When we entered the host was nice and let us know how long the wait was. We waited wayyyyy less than anticipated! Our waitress was Brandy. She was phenomenal. All smiles, attentive, & high energy! Fried mushrooms & cheese sticks were the perfect start to our meal. My husband, son, & I all ordered ribeye steaks they were cooked to perfection. The flavor and juiciness were top tier. This was our 1st time having dinner here but DEFINITELY NOT the last time!
