I love coming to the Folsom Cafe, the coffee is always delicious and the light bites are perfect for a small lunch. My friend and I came here recently and ordered the latte flight to try the different flavors they offer as well as their tomato soup and focaccia bread. It was all exactly what we wanted it to be and I also love the friendliness of the staff and the cute vibe of the cafe.

Best oatmeal I’ve ever had in my life! My mom ordered biscuits and gravy, and she said that it was incredible as well. We got the coffee flight with the gold Rush gold, railroad rocker, Sutter spice, and Lakeside bloom. They were all incredible. I got looseleaf tea, and it came in a cute little teapot that I got to pour myself. The atmosphere is very sophisticated and full of deep, comfortable, homey colors. The food prices are INSANELY reasonable, with everything being around $10 for a decent portion. Drinks are a little pricey, but worth it!!

Stopped in today because I have heard good things about their new chef.. I was not disappointed! I tried an apple muffin with dream cheese frosting that was divine!! Not too sweet, plenty of cinnamon spice and fresh baked apples in the center it was so good!! There were lots of other from scratch goodies on the menu can’t wait to try something else next time

I wanted to like this place. The food was very good. A simple parfait, turkey choptle sandwich, coffee, cappuccino. But the set up is problematic.
Walk in and you don’t know whether to order or sit and the coffee bar attendant doesn’t seem to know who does what either.
The food comes out in spurts, accompanied by “thanks for your patience.” After 3 customers that was old.
No one brought silverware. No water available to self serve.
Some food omitted entirely.
Making coffee, serving, taking money, talking to customers, all too much for one person at lunch time.
It’s a shame because it could be good.

Yay! Another fabulous coffee shop here in Folsom.

The interior has a victorian vibes. The fireplace and the 2 wing chairs looks cozy and inviting. The table has this cute pot of plant which I think is pink kalanchoe? I”ll ask when we come back. The flower pot brought color and more happy aura to the place.

My husband ordered cafe latte and frittata with side of spinach salad topped with pine nuts. I ordered the hot Lavender lakeside Bloom and ham&egg breakfast bagel. The food is delicious! The bagel has the right amount of chewiness and crisp crust. The frittata is flavorful, fluffy and cheesy!
My husband said he liked how the whole milk blends with the flavor of the coffee.
As for my coffee? I love it! There’s a hint of lavender and white chocolate in the right amount. It brought out the flavor of the coffee beans.

Service is great! Ashley provided efficient and friendly service despite the morning rush.

If you’re looking for a new relaxing and quiet coffee place with delicious food, fabulous coffee and lots of seats, Folsom Cafe is the place to be!

Ha! I forgot to take photos of the bagel and frittata.
