So many coffee options to choose from. I had a breakfast sandwich with Gluten Free break. Was very hot and fresh. Waited maybe 5 mins. Great service. I told them I had not been here before and they gave me great recommendations. Will definitely come back!

To be completely honest this place is really just not the best, I only come here out of convenience because I live nearby. The coffee is okay, the food is actually pretty good, and the service is… okay. Food and drinks come out pretty fast, but no one seems to want to be working there lol. I’ve worked in the industry for 10 years so I understand not always having a smile plastered to your face, but I get frowned at by employees more often than not for walking up to the register.

Drinks and food are fine, service is not so much. I work in the building next door and would rather trek across campus to another coffee shop because Spokes is the only place at KU that I don’t feel welcome. The feeling is, either their clerks don’t want to work there, or worse, they’re like that because I’m not white.
