Over all the whole experience was great. Our burger tasted good, but I wish there was some seasoning on the meat and the bun wasn’t strong enough for the weight of the burger. The restaurant was clean and the service was friendly and attentive. No complaints. The fried pickles were hot and delicious and the ranch was especially good – thick and creamy.
PS – It did take some time for the food to arrive but as the sign says, this is not a fast food restaurant. Please be patient, it is worth it!

The place is cute, the staff are friendly, but the food is average at best and my fries were al dente.

We came here looking for a restaurant for our family dinner after hiking at dinosaur state park. Everyone loved their dinners! We started with fried pickles, you can tell the pickles were made from high qaulity cucumbers, they were thick cut and a little spicy. The kids had Chicken Tenders and Corn dog, my wife had the Chicken Pita and I had a Patty Melt. All the food was fresh and the service was great! We even treated ourselves to a brownie with a scoop of ice cream. I highly recommend this stop!
Easy parking and clean bathrooms too.

Food was great but prices charged on bill where high than listed on the menu. (See pictures) Also they up charged for just about everything. $1 for 1000 island dressing for a salad? $1 for jalapeño toast, $5 for onion rings with a meal instead of fries? This would be fine if mention, owner/manager claimed new prices went effect Friday and new menus will be printed Monday. Today is Sunday.

If you want a quaint and friendly experience you will want to come to this spot. The chicken tender salad was delicious. My husband got one of the specialty burgers and my friend got the porterbello mushroom burger. The tea was also very good. Service was excellent and everyone there is very friendly.

When I head to Johnson City or Fredericksburg I make a pit stop at Green Pickle Grill for a great burger and hand cut fries. My burger must have an egg and it is always just the way I like it. Very tasty! Stop by here! The staff is so attentive and hospitable. Sit by the window and watch the people!

Seen this place on instagram and had to come chit out. I loved the pickle theme everywhere. The food was amazing and Fred made to order. The service was great and everyone was on point. This will be a regular stop when we go through Glen Rose in the future.

This is small restaurant that makes food fresh so there will be a wait, but it will be worth it. You need to wait to be seated. Service was great everyone was friendly even the people of Glen rose! Fried pickles fresh and hot, batter has a spicy component to it so keep that in mind. Fries are fresh cut and you will need to add salt but they are good. BLT sandwich was the best, my cheeseburger was more well done than I like but still good. Chicken tenders hot and crispy. Definitely a good place if you are looking for fresh homemade food.

We arrived roughly an hour before they closed and it was almost full. The place was quaint, cozy nostalgic and it definitely smelled amazing. We were promptly seated and as I looked around I felt like I was home!! From the photos on the wall to the chalkboard with pickle themed jokes there was plenty to look at. The staff was super friendly and after ordering and waiting a few minutes we got our food. We ordered fried pickles as an appetizer and can definitely say they were delicious. Please keep in mind this isn’t fast food where someone takes frozen food and then deep fried it. This is not instant food so it takes a few minutes to get your order. Sit down, eat your appetizers and enjoy looking around and chatting with the people you are with. My jalapeño burger was great and so were the fries. This is definitely a place I recommend and definitely a place I’ll be coming back to.

Enjoyed eating there. Food was good. Servers were excellent. Atmosphere great. On a national holiday is was full. The main issue was the wait for the food once we ordered…one hour. Servers kept tending to us and we understood their delima, but the wait was still on our time. Tried the chocolate pie they made there, not that great as it had an odd burned flavor.
