I went there with my girlfriend as this is the first time she had south east asian food and wanted to show her some restaurants as I am Lao.
The only reason why I am giving a low score is because the price of the food at the end of the meal was more than what was on the menu. Fortunately I had a menu in hand in case I wanted to purchase more but from viewing it and the bill it seems that everything was priced about $2 more than what was stated on the menu.
When we asked the employee that was there whom seem to be a teenager about it she let my girlfriend and I know that this has been a problem for a few months and she said that she told the owners but they still haven’t changed it.
We would be a bit understanding though the price is only placed on the menu with stickers so this would be an easy fix but was met with a lot of back and forth about how we would need to pay the increased price.
After a few minutes of talking to the employee of what can be done she pointed at the menu that said “prices are subject to change without notice” so that they are not liable if they adjust everything up. And then just said: “Nothing can be done and you guys can just write a bad review of us”.
So that’s what I am doing, which is a shame because we did enjoy the food but this experience had placed a very bad taste in our mouth and sounds like they only need to take 5 minutes to adjust the price on the menu with a marker or sticker. After we left we had seen other reviews on yelp whom had the same experience.
Not going to eat here again I’d only say to anyone that eats here to take a pic of the menu/what you are ordering before hand before they overcharge you.

Laos Thai Kitchen in downtown Lowell is an outstanding choice for the tastiest and spiciest of southeastern Asian cuisine you can handle; or not- you can have it anyway you wish. I just know that my face was melting, and it was awesome. Heat is typically measured here on a scale of 1 – 6, and I ordered my Boat Noodle Soup (which would still have been tasty delicious without) at level 4. They’ll go higher if you want, but you would probably need Lao blood in your system to deal with that. I also very much enjoyed the Sai Oua, aka Thai Sausage. Service is very friendly, and everything came to me in a timely manner. Very much recommended.

Stopped by en route to the airport and this place did not disappoint! Beef pho was delicious, not too sweet and not many spices that you’ll find at Vietnamese restaurants. The papaya salad was hand shredded, the original way and the seasoning was savory and spiced to your preference. Laab CH was delicious as well with generous herbs and roasted rice powder, just the way I like it! The sausage is good as well but would have been better with ginger and lemongrass ingredients too too. The bathroom looks like it was built for hobbits so watch your head
as you head down there. Service was good and prompt, which I needed for the tight timeline we had to catch our flight. All in all, I highly recommend this place for its authentic and delicious menu!

Made another trip to Boston and had to go eat here again. Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in the world. Each dish is amazing. I ordered the beef laap and sister ordered the chicken laap. Hubby ordered the massaman curry. All portions are huge, service is as amazing as ever, and everything was delicious.
The chicken wings are a must. I make pretty good crispy wings but theirs were out of this world. Crunchy, juicy, lots of umami, and big ! The dipping sauce was great too. I highly recommend their mango sticky rice.

Visiting from Toronto, i had to try this. my dish (beef laab with 3 stars aka 3 chilies) was one of the best things I have ever eaten in MY LIFE!! I cant describe it except that it was exceptional. The sticky rice itself was a bit hard but who cares. The portion sizes were massive. I am in love. I dream about this place.
