This place has gone through some changes, all of them for the better. I went there last night by myself and enjoyed a bacon cheeseburger and fries. I must say that Emily was a fantastic and lovely server. The waffle fries absolutely smashed and were some of the best I’ve had in some time. Easy location compared to any of the restaurants in downtown blowing rock. I will certainly be back.

Stopped here after selling my art all day in Blowing Rock. Wow! What a wonderful restaurant! Olivia gave us great promo service. The food was excellent and the prices were reasonable. I had the salmon with the cilantro slaw. We got a cheese board app and everything was delicious

So hungry I forgot to take more pictures but the place has great food, a great view, and a large parking lot. The staff was very nice, although I did have to track down our server a couple times. Solid food and drink and a great place to stop before or after visiting the Blowing Rock (its right down the street). (2nd visit. Very attentive server this time. Lovely lunch. Wish the texas toast buns had been grilled with garlic butter instead of just being thick toasted bread, but a nice lunch was had by all)

The view is better than the food. Good place to enjoy your lunch or dinner while looking at the valley. The patio sitting is limited so you don’t always get to sit outside.
Chicken sandwich is kinda dry, burger is ok. Nothing special. I think if you fancy a good meal then I think you have to go downtown.

My husband and I went to lunch here today. AMAZING food, service and Mountain Views. Menu had apps, salads (will homemade dressing), tacos, a lot of sandwich options. Prices were incredibly reasonable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The view is breathtaking. The drinks are divine. Eat somewhere else. Menu is quite limited.Chicken skin bites so revolting ill never eat chicken skin ever again. Horribly overcooked and doused with an inedible sauce. Gave me heartburn and nightmares. Sent chicken sandwich back because the meat was low quality. Corn tacos several ways and a good draft list were a hit with my husband . Dining room has been recently refurbished without losing the local charm. ONLY WAFFLE FRIES. Sheesh. I want to like them, I just can’t eat their food. Good place to come to watch the game.

My family wanted to stop here during our weekend excursion, we loved the fact that they had live music & a decent view from outside. The first part of our food was good such as the crispy chicken skin for an appetizer. But once we got our main meal it was all different, our chicken sandwiches was a bit dry but had great flavor, the waffle fry’s were overly crisp and definitely needed a grease change in the kitchen. The coleslaw was absolutley nasty. Told the waitress it wasn’t good & if we could please get some of the fry’s to replace it( even though they weren’t great it was WAY better than that slaw!) Instead of taking the slaw away it was left at the table(uneaten). She did however give us some fry’s but we were charged and additional $4 for that. In normal circumstances there is no charge for something that isn’t good to the customers liking & this should not have happened. Service was overall horrible & most of the folks working there, you couldn’t tell was an employee at all. There was a young man I seen, that looked like he was doing a wonderful job waiting on his tables!
The bathroom was also very nasty, didn’t seem to have any upkeep to it. There was TP all over the floor,( 1 kid walked out with it stuck to her foot while waiving her hands dry) & 1 stall looked as if someone got sick & there wasn’t any paper towels to dry your hands.
Overall it was a really big disappointment and the only thing great was what I mentioned earlier. However $80(4ppl) later for horrible service/food, we will never be back to this establishment.

This is a local hamburger place. One plate is a whole lotta food.
This should be the tourist place to see the sunset on the deck and have a drink and appetizer. We pulled into the parking lot and immediately saw a vista that is better than at lookout points. You can also sit inside at one of the booths next to huge windows. The server, bartender, chef, and locals were incredibly friendly.
The speciality burgers are fun, tasty. They serve large portions of fries (try the sweet potato waffle fries). The views can’t be beat.

the burgers here are really tasty — well-balanced, not overly heavy or too little food but just the right amount to leave you satisfied. staff is friendly and the view is spectacular. highly recommend building your own burger!

I wanted to love this place, I really did. Very cool atmosphere with a gorgeous view. I ordered the smoked salmon flat bread which was so salty I not only couldn’t eat it but it totally put me off lunch altogether. The first beer my dad tried was flat as all get out. The second left very much to be desired as well. Both he and my mother tried a pasta which was just ok but the noodles tasted as if they had been cooked hours ago if not the day prior which was distressing considering how long we waited for our orders to be served. Perhaps we just stopped on an off day as other reviewers seem to enjoy the food.
