I was passing through Missouri on the way to Illinois from California. I love to eat at local places when I travel and Andy’s did not disappoint. I had the lunch special: sandwich, cup of soup and a cookie. All were clearly homemade and tasted amazing. The potato soup was particularly good, served with bacon and cheese on top. The iced holiday sugar cookie was also a standout. The counter service was fast, efficient and friendly. The restaurant was very clean. It was busy, the customers a mix of locals and soldiers from the nearby Army base. If you live in the area or are just passing through, I highly recommend lunch at Andy’s

How I don’t eat here more often is a complete mystery to me. I have never had a bad meal. The food is always so incredibly fresh, prepared to your specific desires, and made beautifully. The help are friendly, eager to please, and go out of their way to make things well. The desserts are to die for too.

Often closed for private events which makes it difficult for us commoners to get a good bite to eat. Dine in food is great, their catered food is very bland though.

When ordering I asked the employee’s favorite food and she said a burger with cream cheese and habanero pepper jelly so of course I had to try it. This was the best burger I’ve ever had. The salted caramel pretzel cookie was also amazing!
