First time here. The barrista greeted me with a smile and kindly took my order. I ordered a large iced matcha with vanilla and pecan flavor. The matcha was vibrant green even though the beverage looks like it had too much milk. It is the best matcha in the area.

I visit Ennis often, and Sunshine Brews has been one of my go-to spots. The coffee is always delicious, and I’ve typically had good experiences with the staff.
During my most recent visit, though, I left disappointed. A barista I usually chat with was short with my partner, which I brushed off at first. However, when one of my drinks came out wrong, things became frustrating. I explained that I had ordered the Merry Mint Sunshine (something I get often), but was served a Merry Mocha instead. When I went back to have it corrected, I was told it was my mistake and was charged for a new drink.
Normally I feel welcomed here, but this interaction left me feeling dismissed. While I’ve enjoyed this shop in the past, I’ll be taking a break for now.

Stopped by Sunshine Brews in Ennis today and loved seeing their Valentine’s pop-up in full swing — the place was packed with such a fun, festive energy! The coffee was absolutely delicious, and the pastry I ordered was fresh and perfectly made. You can really tell they care about both quality and creating a great customer experience. If you’re in Ennis, this is definitely a spot worth visiting — especially during their seasonal pop-ups!

I had time to hang out in the space and let this be a warning to you all that ALL of their games and activities were missing pieces. Literally all of them. Whether it be 1 or several components, something is missing. A bit of a bummer but hey at least their coffee is good 🙂

Please do yourself a favor and drive past Starbucks to this unique and beautiful coffee shop. I promise you will be so glad you did. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. We were driving back to Houston from Dallas and stopped here to fuel up on some caffeine. This coffee shop was not only the cutest, most Instagram worthy stop but the taste of the coffee drinks we purchased was beyond tasteful. If I am ever nearby I will most definitely stop by. The customer service was beyond elite. We had the Howdy Honey and Sol Mocha iced.

This place would get five stars if they actually served something hot or even warm. They’re hot chocolate they serve tastes like lukewarm milk unfortunately and I asked for extra chocolate. Please try your product to see that customers are just settling. This could potentially be an amazing place because the staff are kind and it has a great atmosphere. Just not the best taste. If I wanted warm milk I would heat some up at home. If my wife wanted cold coffee she would’ve ordered that.

The Signature Texas Pecan Latte was true to its name, and the taste was amazing! Perfect for travelers arriving at Ennis for the first time, and the sweet taste is enough to keep coming back. 10/10. Sunshine Brews is a great way to experience Ennis!

This is a great coffee shop in the heart of Ennis. I just recently moved to the area. and really enjoyed finding this place in coming here often. It’s got a very refreshing atmosphere, coffee drinks are on point, pastries/ desserts are yummy and fresh. The staff are so friendly and attentive, the bluebonnet coffee they serve is outstanding.
Definitely come and give this place a check. You won’t be disappointed.

I grew up in Ennis but moved to Corpus Christi a few years ago, and this coffee shop popped up in Ennis just a few moths ago. I was surprised and delighted to see it in Ennis, and knew I had to go try it ASAP.
It did not disappoint. I got a cortado, and it was delicious! The staff were incredibly friendly and I got to have a chat with the owner as well and pick her brain a bit. I ended up going here every day that I was in town and I did not regret a single choice made here. If I still lived in Ennis I would be here every day without fail.
Moral of the story, if you’re looking for delicious coffee and staff that treat you like family, look no further. Sunshine Brews has all of the small town hospitality plus the delicious specialty coffee reminiscent of bigger cities, and they are such a needed ray of sunshine in downtown Ennis.
