Kirkwood & Co. started as an idea…one that occupied the minds of a small group of local residents and wouldn’t go away until it came to fruition. Folks that sought to do something that the community wanted and desperately needed: a place to gather with friends and family to enjoy their company, along with good food and drink. A nice restaurant for Highland and the surrounding communities!

We stopped in for a little birthday lunch.
Upon entering, we were greeted by Ooge and had the best time.
The food was delicious, good smoke, generous portion size, and quick kind service.
From start to end my experience was pure perfection.
And Ooge was wonderful at adding the perfect birthday touches to my experience.
It was worth the drive for the food, atmosphere, and good time.
Definitely will be going back, especially to enjoy their outdoor patio.

Oh my gosh, we just found a jem in Kirkwood & Co.! First time here by chance. Had chicken nachos for a quick lunch. We loved them!! They had homemade flour chips or regular so we did half and half. The homemade flour chips were so much better Next time it will be all flour chips. The waitress was Very nice! Kayla C. Was so helpful since this was our first time! We will differently be back and bring friends! We loved it!!

This is definitely a great local spot to eat at! The food is definitely high-quality, & I really enjoyed my hot tenderloin! The gravy was homemade, tenderloin hand breaded & potatoes were real! The inside is very nice, with tv’s all over to watch a game & with the old pictures of Highland on the walls! The staff was very friendly, & gave us plenty of time to order! This isn’t your typical local spot! The food is a definite step above your local diner food! A+

Everyone kept telling us about this place, and finally we tried it. Great mushroom Swiss burger (lots of cheese and mushrooms!) and mashed potatoes were authentic and perfect! Easy going sports atmosphere and place is clean and vibrant. Will be back for sure!

We stopped by here on our way back from Marysville to Saint Joe. Our experience was definitely great. We ordered the tenderloin with waffle fries and he ordered a French dip. The meat on the French dip was incredibly tender and the hoagie was soft and delicious. The waffle fries at just the right amount of seasoning. We also ordered some flour chips that came crispy and wonderful with a very mild salsa. At only a 30 minute drive from our home, we WILL be back!!! They also use the pay by app option. Nice!

Stopped for a late lunch with a large group and they took care of us without any problems. Food all came out fast and tasted great! I got the Kirkwood sandwich (brisket and pulled pork) and it was excellent. Tender and flavorful. This place is new but it should last a long time with good food like this!

We’ve eaten here about half a dozen times when we come up to visit my daughter at HCC. It’s a great place and the town is lucky to have it. Everything is reasonably priced and tastes great. This time I had a chicken salad. It was large, filling and delicious. If we ever come back to Highland, we’ll eat here again!

Definitely not stellar service. I was seated on a Friday night and no one so much as asked if I wanted water for almost 15 minutes. It was moderately busy, but 15 minutes is a LONG time to wait for service. It’s the only restaurant in town, so I decided to stay. When no one even walked through my section, I called the restaurant and asked for service (how embarrassing). Not good

Stopped in during the major flea markets that happen in the area. Service was attentive and food was great. They are about the only option in the town for food and drinks.
