In my opinion, the most solid coffee shop in wauwatosa. I’d rather go the extra mile to come here than go to a shop closer to my house. Great place to meet with people, enjoy the day, and be with friends. The coffee is always actually good, which I find so critical for a place claiming to specialize in coffee. Thankful for the quality; they make their own syrups, roast their own beans, use good milk, and the baristas care about their craft.

I stopped at Vendetta Coffee Bar on a Monday morning and was blown away by the beautifully detailed interior on the inside! The unique bar and stained glass windows make this cafe memorable. They’re also dog-friendly, have ample seating, moody lighting, and relaxing background music.
The staff is very friendly and my drink was delicious! I opted for a recommendation from the barista and had the seasonal drink, Cafe Zucca, made with locally-sourced pumpkin puree and espresso.

Honestly I don’t really have anything negative to say about this place! First time here & they were packed (granted it was a Saturday morning). We just waited a little bit for a table to open up so it wasn’t much of an issue. Loved their menu and the variety of options. BIG thumbs up because they make their own house syrups, too. Will be coming back

Walking into this room feels like stepping back in time, to a classy old time espresso bar in Austria. Elegant, majestic woodwork on back bar. Beautiful stained glass windows on back wall.
Perfect espresso served in demitasse at standing bar for one dollar!
Great service, great room, great location.

The matcha is very good here, not sweetened initially. I like it unsweetened, and then if I am in the mood for something sweeter, they have a vast array of different syrups like lavender or cherry that I like to add. They also have a rotating drink menu, and make some classy drinks in fun glasses, such as martini glasses.
The food is good, but not particularly broad. A few selections of sandwiches and pastries, which I am usually not a fan of personally, so that is individual!
Staff is very nice, and professional. Very clean, very attentive, and welcoming.
The prices are a bit higher than other coffee shops, but it is a large space with lots of outlets and tables and a common study spot for various types of students or a good work location. It is relatively quiet most the time, other than busy periods during lunch where people come to meet up and have conversation.

If you are downtown Wauwatosa, make sure you stop by this wonderful Coffee bar. Such a chic place. Great place to meet someone for a meeting or just to sit and work.

Lovely relaxing atmosphere. Serves loose leaf Rishi teas (besides coffees) & a handful of Italian imported pastries.

Less than impressed. Drink was fine but it took forever at Tosa. No pictures of their seasonal drinks, that would help with ordering. Also no direction on “order here, then find a table”. No “Hi, how can I help”, but we did get a dismissive “I’ll be with you in a minute.” Husband asked for cream and sugar in his drink, she sounds agreeable taking the order, then redirects him rudely to put his own cream & sugar in. Ambience is great, but the table wasn’t cleaned between customers. First and last time here, sadly.

First time here. I really liked it. It has a great feel as a vintage coffee shop. The decor is unique historic, the beverages were well made, (I had a London Fog and my friend a Chai Latte), and the pastries were extremely fresh, and delicious. The staff were personable, professional and efficient.
So why did I give it a 4 instead of a 5? Only because when the place was half full, it was just so very loud. We had a difficult time with a conversation. There were times that we were nearly shouting to be heard. So while I can’t exactly fault the business for this (boisterous patrons, having a fun loud conversation), or is it something with the acoustics.
I would definitely come back and try a different seat/table.
Oh, and by the way, the Sfogliatella pastry, filled with Ricotta and orange, was absolutely amazing! Would get that again in a heart beat. They had just made another batch, and ours was still warm!

EDIT: food is still great, but service was rude which is a bummer. Servers straight up ignored or rolled their eyes when asking if I should bring my dirty glasses back or if I could see the menu.
Loved this little jewel in the heart of Tosa Village. Everything was great, we’ll be back! Almond croissant + Earl grey tea with bee honey + ham and cheese panini + verano coffee was 25$. Very affordable for the area too if you ask me! Ambience is quiet, great music. Biking here on a Saturday morning for brunch is the dream.
