Whenever I’m in Copenhagen, I always try to eat here.
It’s a small, Italian-run place, nothing fancy, just really cozy and real.
I’ve tried a lot from the menu over different visits – pizzas, pasta, arancini and even the osso buco – and honestly, I’ve never had a bad dish. Everything has been really, really good every single time.
The people are warm and welcoming, and you feel it right away when you walk in.
The menu is quite big for such a small pizzeria, which is actually nice because there’s a lot to choose from.
If you’re unsure what to order, just go with Leo’s recommendations.
You won’t be disappointed at all.

Great pizza – fresh ingredients, tasty sauce, crunchy flavorful crust. Friendly staff. Expensive, but it’s Copenhagen!

Leo Pizza is my favorite pizza spot in Copenhagen. Every time I go there, I feel like I’m in Italy — like I’m sitting somewhere in Palermo enjoying real homemade flavors. The pizza is fantastic, and the sandwiches and pastas are just as good. Everything is simply perfect.
A truly genuine recommendation from me!

I have just enjoyed the best pizza in my life! More like a pizza from Napoli I would say – soft crust and nice and thin bottom. Real real tasty! My friends Pasta was also great. A very unique, simple and friendly place… And it’s hard to find such an affordable place in Copenhagen which such atmosphere and family feel! GRAZIE!

What a gem! My expectations were exceeded! The food was great and the price amazing for such a high quality and variety in the heart of Cph. Every member of the staff and the owner himself is chill and amicable. Don’t expect high quality cutlery or uptight service, here you inhale the true Italian restaurant spirit made of conviviality, quality, humbleness and warmth!

Probably the best homemade Italian (and Sicilian) food you’ll find in Copenhagen! Leo and the staff are also super friendly. Don’t hesitate to attempt some Italian words with them

Leo’s Pizza is an authentic Italian restaurant in Copenhagen. It is not fancy or posh which means that the prices are reasonable compared to many other Italian restaurants in Copenhagen. You can take out or sit at one of the few tables inside. We ordered two pizza, one big Arancino, one portion egg plant, one pasta dish and one Sandwich. Also a side artichoke salat. Everything was so delicious. We especially loved the Arancino, which was warmed up and the Quantity and taste of the sandwich surprised me. Something special might be the Arancino filling which is corn, peas, rice, but I can just recommend it. Also the pasta and pizza was of highest quality and you see that the portion size was big. Leo‘s also serves traditional Italian beer.
Some ideas that should be improved is to change the plastic cups to glasses and there should be more bread served with the egg plant. The artichoke salat was a bit too oily in my opinion but others might like that.
I hope that review helps everyone.
Again, the quality of the food is outstanding.
