Delicious homemade sides and sandwiches! Black bean burger fell apart when I forgot to take photograph before digging in! we had the black bean burger, chicken salad and buffalo burger with sweet potato fries, potato salad and pasta salad. All yummy!

My husband and I were glad the lunch place someone had recommended didn’t work out. This is our kind of place.
We were greeted upon entering by a friendly, relaxed waitress.
We enjoyed the calm and out of the ordinary environment and the yummy homemade food and kombucha. The shrimp I had ordered was hand breaded and juicy. The deep fried mushrooms also were hand breaded and delicious.
My husband enjoyed the Cuban sandwich. They packed plenty of meat on there.
The kombucha was spendid and had plenty of fizz.
I like the fact everything is a la carte, so you can order exactly what you want/like.
We don’t live in the area, but we will be back.

Stopped by here while visiting a hot spring since it was recommended to us. It is very easy to find but parking can be kind of a pain. The place is small so you might have to wait as few minutes until a table opens up since you seat yourself. They were on the full side so the service was on the slow side. The waitress was nice service but seemed like they didn’t want to be there. The food was good but nothing I would get excited about. The dinner menu has a lot of good options that I would like to try. I might stop by here again, maybe.

Cute little restaurant. Food was good except for their homemade chips that were under seasoned and not our favorite. This was probably our cheapest sit down meal we had on our vacation. You could tell our waiter was new- it took forever for our food to come out and it was because she forgot to put it in! We appreciated her honesty nonetheless.

We stopped for a late lunch. I had the meatloaf sandwich, it was delicious. The portion was huge. My husband had the chicken sandwich, amazing. The service was great. Prompt and friendly. The chocolate chip cookies are to die for. We went back the next day and they were out, the owner offered to make us some on the spot. Ordered 6 and shared with our grandkids. Highly recommend. The staff and owner obviously care about your experience at their restaurant. We will go here every trip to the Black Hills.

This place is really cool. The owner, who I was told, is an artist, created a really nice atmosphere with the custom tables and artwork. I wish I had taken a picture of the bathroom because the artwork in there was amazing. The food was good and the service was great. I had The Rashle. Highly recommend you take the drive into town and check this place out.

Got in line at the door, greeted by the staff that had a smile and menu’s ready. We ordered Ranger Rick basket, loved the homemade fries, pasta salad was different, had a Mexican spice taste, not my favorite pasta, and maybe trade up to potato salad on the next trip. We both are not cherry pie fans but recommend apple as a backup.
I am looking forward to the future of stepping inside to be seated or in the waiting area to pick up food.
The outdoor is dusty and noisy from constant road construction.
The meatloaf sandwich was very good. The portion was large compared to other local places. The dollar to food portion was a top talking point when places are doing small portions for more money.
Our order only took 10 minutes…

Just passing through and stumbled upon this unlikely gem. The food was incredible. I had a chicken salad on texas toast and it was the best. They gave me homemade potato chips that were also top tier. The iced tea was home brew and had plenty of old time flavor. Check this place out when you get a chance. i hear their Cuban sandwiches are excellent as well.

Really good! I had the Cubano and my husband had the breakfast sandwich with hashbrowns. The place is still coming togerher, but it will be so nice when it’s done. Personally I wouldn’t listen to the one star reviews because they’re clearly from people who don’t understand that sometimes people live above or a below a restaurant… my only criticism is that the fries are a little salty, but very manageable!
