The best Food hands down, I’ve been searching for a good african restaurant spot, and I came across Kalabar Kitchen, it has been the best African food spot in the middle river area!!! And the service was amazing on top of thr food, both workers were so friendly, welcoming, and very kind! I’d definitely recommend!!! And I’m definitely coming back to get the ogbono soup! I had the Egusi soup, and purchased some products inside the store I’ll definitely be coming back ! Everything was absolutely amazing !!!!!!

Kalabar Kitchen is a hidden gem! The food is authentic, flavorful, and generously portioned. The service is always friendly and attentive. I highly recommend the jollof rice, Egusi soup , Afang soup, pepper soup, suya and more foods to be mentioned. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Can’t wait to come back! .

I’m new to the Area. My wife and son caught the flu and I was searching for a place to get pepper soup for them.
I came across Kalabar kitchen after calling other places. Her enthusiasism and friendly nature made me order from her restaurant. I was treated well when I arrived. She and her assistant had a positive attitude and great customer service.
I ended up buying more items from her store as well.
Also the food was great. My family enjoyed it.
Will definitely be buying from this store.
Finally she mentioned that I can find her restaurant on DoorDash. Since I stay about 35mins away, it is nice that I can order when I don’t feel like driving.
