Have you ever had a religious experience eating a five dollar Philly cheesesteak at a pizzeria in Glen Alpine, NC? I have. After an arduous (albeit successful) day of house hunting my spouse stopped here shortly before closing. The owner was very gracious and kind; our food was made to order within minutes. Though the ambience would make any dentist’s office seem glamorous by comparison, the food was absolutely heavenly and worth every penny. I gleefully devoured my cheesesteak on the ride home and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Doggies in Glen Alpine 1st time finally to eat here came in and ordered to go. This place wowed me when I walked in as how clean and neat. The staff was excellent helped I was looking at the menu seeing what to get and everyone that came in was treated like valued customers I would recommend this place and we will be back to enjoy a meal. And this review is before I even got my food The man that took my order was top knoch.

Friendly service and delicious food at good prices. Had the BLT pizza which was very excellent and my son had the Ultimate (4 cheese) cheese sticks. He said they were his all-time favorite. And the crust on the pizzas were super soft and had a fantastic flavor. My wife who isn’t a pizza crust eater did in fact eat all of her crust.

Best pizza anywhere! Stromboli is beyond amazing. So cheesy and delicious. The marinara sauce on the pizza and in sauce cups for dipping is perfection. Not to mention the best, most delicious salads, filled with tasty crisp vegetables!! Great portions for the price! I don’t have a single negative thing to say about Doogie’s and I’ve been eating there since I was a little girl!

Bleh…. the pizza is so dry and hard
They could do better than that! Since they moved to this place, it was much different than former location. Salad wasn’t great either, got some soaky brown lettuces in, tomato taste very old. The burger tastes fake and so small for price. Too expensive for nothing! We won’t be back here.

Best wings around, I have yet to try something that I didn’t like. More than just a pizza joint. Everything fom hamburgers to hot subs excellent salads. A hidden jem. You will have to wait for your order, seeing that it’s made fresh to order, but it’s well worth the wait. Prices are very reasonable. If you try them once you’ll be back. We drive 30 minutes to get there and usually call our order in ahead of arrival. The establishment is supper clean and the staff is awesome and friendly.

Doogies is a cute little local Italian restaurant nestled in the heart of Glen Alpine. They have really great pizza and salads, subs, and wings. Bottled drinks and fountain drinks available. No alcohol so it’s more of a family-friendly atmosphere. Food is made fresh and is served by a smiling staff.

Came based on the reviews. Overall disappointed base on the high expectations, it’s a very average pizza place. Prices were fair, service was good, food quality was ok but forgetable. It’s just another of thousands of small pizza shops. If you’re hungery and close by stop. Otherwise keep moving.
