Rosa has a 100% dedicated gluten free kitchen, making it completely celiac safe!!! The food and service is so amazing here that we’ve been twice in the past month, including tonight for our anniversary. Some of the things we’ve tried include the queso, frozen margs, asada fries, enmoladas, asada and quesabirria tacos, and the tres leches cake! Everything has been incredible, especially the enmoladas. I’d never tried mole before Rosa’s, it’s delicious!! We truly can’t overstate the quality of the food and overall experience here. 100% recommend to anyone

Great food. Entirely gluten-free menu made finding stuff to eat easy and they were able to easily make some of the items with dairy modified to be dairy free alongside some already dairy free options.

Food had a lot of flavor and the ceviche guajillo sauce was so good they should start bottling and selling it. One of few Mexican places in the area that actually has included chips and salsa.

Idk what they do to make the shrimp so good but both the fajitas shrimp and fried shrimp on the tacos were some of the best I’ve had.

Will definitely go back and the staff was very nice as well. Everything was very well put together and so many homemade items on the menu made the flavors come together very well.

Food was really good! As someone who’s gluten free, I love that they changed the menu to be entirely gluten free.

I got the chicken fajitas and they were great. We also got the dip trio.

My only note is there was no music playing in the restaurant which made the chatter super loud.

Had a great meal here with the family. I remember the old DBA here (RIP), and it took too long for us to check this place out. This place should be getting a lot more love from the neighborhood.

Kids loved their tacos, and the chicken mole enmoladas were excellent. Some of the best I’ve had. Free salsa for table was on point, as well.

A very welcome add to the neighborhood. We will be back!!

I did not like this place at all when it first opened. The positive transformation is amazing. They now have creative, high quality food. I enjoyed the watermelon carpaccio. The fish tacos feature grouper either breaded and fried or grilled. For dessert we had the chocolate tres leches with ice cream. The portion is huge — perfect for splitting between two (or three) people. The kitchen is gluten free which was a pleasant surprise. The only thing missing is gluten free beer. There are many excellent low gluten beers they could serve. Not sure why they would offer gluten free food without a gluten free beer. I suggest Estrella Daura. Even having Corona Light would be nice since it has a very low gluten content.

We went back and enjoyed the waffle fries topped with beef, guac, pico, and cheese. Absolutely delicious. Still hoping they add a gluten free beer to go along with it.

We’ve been a few times, but this was our first return trip since the menu update and the experience was mostly positive with a few spots for improvement.
Pros: They made the whole kitchen dedicated Gluten Free which is amazing! Their house salsa is some of the best in ATL. The waffle fries with hanger steak is amazing and we’d go back just for that. Margs and quesadilla were good too (a treat for my celiac wife that usually can’t have big quesadillas).

Cons: Acoustic struggles indoors. It’s super loud and the waiter couldn’t hear us trying to order, you have to raise your voice to hear one another, and you can’t understand the music. Acoustic advice: they need about 3x as many acoustic panels (rockwool or owens corning 703) on the ceiling and walls to actually make a difference. Maybe attach skinny panels to the tops of the booths too.

The atmosphere improves significantly (and earns a 3rd star)on the patio without all the walls and hard surfaces.

The wait at the host stand was also a bit longer than expected, and they seemed a little short-staffed (Probably because it was the week of a holiday)

Saying all of this because I think they’re a few adjustments away from being one of our favorite neighborhood Mexican spots!

I live in the neighborhood and finally went to Rosa. The service by Drew at the bar was excellent. The cheese dip and chips were outstanding. The fish and shrimp tacos were fresh and delicious. The house margaritas were great and I had a draft beer, which was good. Wish there were more Mexican draft beer choices. Will definitely return to this restaurant. Thank you, Marsha

Give this place another try if you came when it originally opened. We’ve been coming here since it first opened and wanted to share how impressed we are with the recent changes. You can really tell they’ve brought in a new chef and are making a genuine effort to elevate the food and rectify some of the earlier issues.

The asada burrito is a standout — flavorful, well-seasoned, and easily one of the best in the neighborhood. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared.

We usually sit at the bar, which has such a great, welcoming atmosphere. The service is friendly, attentive, and makes the whole experience feel relaxed and fun.

It’s clear this place is listening to feedback and moving in the right direction, and we’re excited to keep coming back. Definitely worth another visit if you haven’t been in recently!

Updated review 2/6/26: After seeing that Rosa used a quote from my review in their glow-up promo (which I found hilarious), I had to give it a third try. The interior has WAY more atmosphere now- loved! What was great: the tacos (fresh!!!), chips (fresh!), and salsa (smoky). What was not great: the watermelon carpaccio (didn’t enjoy the flavor profile), the service (sat for more than 15 minutes without a waiter), the prices (every taco should come w/ rice and beans, c’mon). I appreciate all of the work that’s been put in to improve and love seeing how far they’ve come. But it probably wont be making its way into my neighborhood rotation at this point.

Initial review: A slight letdown but I would like to go back. Very busy and incredibly noisy at peak hours. Staff was very kind and service was good. Tacos were subpar all the way around but didn’t taste bad, just nothing special. Atmosphere has potential but is lacking so far. Hoping it’ll improve as they get settled in the neighborhood.

Some of the best tacos I’ve had in Atlanta. Carne asada, fish, shrimp and birria were all fantastic. Quesadilla, queso and guacamole were all hits as well. Margs on point. Will be adding this place to the roster in front of several other Tex-mex spots around town.
