I recently moved to the area and drive by this place every day. Today, after flying back from Boston, I finally decided to stop in — and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the young lady at the register was incredibly kind and helped me choose what to order. She said everything was good, and she was right.
The food was spectacular — fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. Overall, a fantastic experience. I’ll definitely be back!

Lady at the front was amazing. Told her it was my first time and for a second thought I drove all the way from Charlotte just for the food lol. But was real cool, as well as the chef. The seafood egg roll…BUSSIN.. and the rice with fried shrimp and sauce? Would’ve drove back just to get another plate lol. 10/10.. keep doing your thing!!

Been here twice so far. Both times food was great. The first time I came was for my parents. Got them the snow crabs and shrimp. They loved it. The 2nd time I came was just yesterday, my son Loves Seafood boils so I wanted him to try this place. He definitely gave his approval. I got him the same thing I got my parents the first time. The snow crabs was a decent size and the shrimp was definitely Jumbo size.
Also I’ve never had to wait on my orders. Everytime I came the order was ready to go. This is a locally owned restaurant so come check them out!

Went for the salmon bites with seafood rice. Absolutely amazing the proportion sizes were shareable. The amount of crawfish, shrimp, and fresh crabmeat inside the rice will have you in a chokehold.The seafood egg rolls with the boom-boom sauce will have you ending all conversations to indulge in the party in your mouth. Everything was well seasoned.

One of the best places I’ve been in a while. The flavors are amazing. Mostly seafood dishes and wings. I had the seafood rice & shrimp, with garlic eggs and honey bread. The staff is also great and very helpful. I highly recommend!!!

If you havent tried Gumbo House Express, you want to! As beautiful as this looks- it TASTES EVEN BETTER! Everything is so fresh. The flavor is out of this world. The smell makes makes you want to cry. So does the cornbread. Gumbo will make you want to hurt someone. Fried fish – absolute perfection. I want to know all their secrets. Also, they are super friendly. Eat here. It’s delicious! (P.s its takeout…world’s finest!)

This is a hidden gem. My husband & I ate lunch here & it was surprisingly delicious . We tried the gumbo that was loaded with so much flavor & very hearty. The spices, tomatoes, okra, shrimp, sausage etc etc..it was loaded & we had honey cornbread with it that melts in your mouth…we were full but not enough to try the beignets & omgggg they were the best i ever tasted. The chef is so sweet & has great crew behind him. Its a nice spot to come grab some grub.We will definitely be back, that’s our new spot!!!

The food and service was top notch. The people who run this place are incredibly friendly and the food is 11/10. The car fish bites just melt away in your mouth and the cat fish sauce they have is phenomenal. The garlic jumbo shrimp was easy to peel and nice and fresh and hot. I am absolutely going to tell everyone I know about this place, I dont think I can describe how great this place is. I absolutely will be returning

Food here is spot on. Their fried shrimp is excellent, especially if you get the boom boom sauce. Fried okra and cornbread are above average. Did I mention the wings – the wet wings are spot on… I’ve tried mild, lemon-pepper and garlic Parmesan… All excellent!
