UPDATE JUNE 7, 2025: We just drove over to enjoy a nice dinner only to find Tifudi is permanently closed and they have moved to Augusta, Georgia. Such a big disappointment.

We tried this place for dinner after reading the reviews. Arrived at 5:00 on a Friday and the place was not busy. We sat right away at a booth. The service was quick and attentive, refilling water frequently and checking on our satisfaction. We ordered Pad Thai with shrimp and Stir Fried Mixed Vegetables with shrimp. The server asked about the amount of heat/spice we prefer – which we appreciated. The food and drinks came quickly on the prettiest plates (not commercial type) that reminded me of pretty glassware and ceramic dishes you would serve at home. Now the food: we’ve eaten Pad Thai at several places in Atlanta, Greenville and Asheville….and this Pad Thai was the best – fresh, perfectly cooked and flavored with a nice portion size (not too big or too small). The mixed veggie stir fry dish was amazingly fresh and not over or undercooked with just right amount of light garlic sauce so it didn’t overpower the dish. The shrimp on both dishes were “jumbo” sized and not over cooked. The only disappointment is the atmosphere: it smelled a bit like an old building (it is) and it’s a functional space, not cozy, formal, or charming…but it is clean. Located right off Main Street, parking is easy with street parking as well as a free lot across the street. We definitely will be back for the fresh, quality food at a very reasonable price. We highly recommend this relatively new restaurant (3 years in business)!

This place is a hidden gem. Dark gray building – a little hard to find but so worth the find. The food was 10/10. Basil duck entree was a generous portion, tender tasty and crispy skin. The eggplant Basil was also excellent. Plus the entree comes with a complimentary egg roll & a delicious broth. Very cool interior & excellent service. Can’t recommend enough

We loved , loved, loved it. That was the friendliest and nicest place we have been in a long time. The food was excellent and the portions huge. I had the green curry with tofu what I always try first at a Thai restaurant. And it was delicious

The service was wonderful, the food was amazing and we would eat here all the time.
They do ask how spicy you prefer for every dish.
I recommend the Thai tea. It is sweet and creamy.
Everything we tried was so full of favor and tasty.

Ordered the yellow curry and massaman curry. Both lunches came with a spring roll and salad too. The spring rolls were so good we had another order of them, and the curries were to die for! Both of them had perfectly cooked chicken and plenty of veggies, and the spice level was perfect as is. We will definitely be back and soon, thanks June and Bruce!

Fantastic little gem tucked away by the West Whitner Parking Garage downtown. (Former location of The Meeting Place)
They have a very friendly staff and the servings are large, reasonably priced, and very well presented.
You can’t go wrong here, so check it out for yourself.
Every visit has been amazing!

New location just opened so they are not serving breakfast nor have their ABC license yet. We tried the Pad Thai and Thai Basil chicken and they were both good. Service was nice and they did a decent job with the decor.

Quiet, with lovely food and good service. I couldn’t wait to eat, so I’m afraid I didn’t get the picture until a few bites into the panang curry. It just smelled and looked too good to wait!

Absolute favorite Thai restaurant in this area. I wish we had one in Seneca. Today was my second visit. I had the Pad Thai & it was delicious. My friend had the catfiah basil & said it was delicious. You can order to the spice level you prefer. Crab Rangoon was one of the best I have ever had. The ginger honey tea was really good. Free parking right next door in the parking garage. Highly recommend!!
