Such a nice cozy spot!
Not really busy during noon which is convenient because I was able to place my order right away. The wait was a little bit long- My order was completed in 30 mins from when I ordered (granted there were a family of 4 before me and then a customer right after I ordered. Plus not many workers as thus this being a small express/go restaurant.
Knocked off a point because this place gives small portions and I paid $44 for two meals

Overall, the food had great flavor, but there were a few misses. The salmon and thinly sliced beef were unfortunately overcooked and dry. On the other hand, the tempura sides and shrimp were delicious and well-prepared. Disappointed in the California roll in each bento; it was hard, fell apart easily, and seemed like it had been refrigerated before serving.

Absolutely fabulous place! We think it’s the best sushi in the Woodbury/Oakdale area. A nice and cozy place with very creative artwork on the walls. The shogun roll is very tasty and spicy. The spicy tuna roll is the best we’ve had. Highly recommend this place!

Very authentic experience and wonderful service. We got our food very fast and you just knew everything was super fresh… the fish, the wasabi, the rice- I recommend the skewers and the Shogun roll if you like a little heat! It’s a father and son run place and it was it was really genuine to be served by people that love the art of Japanese food so much. Highly recommend even if it’s a little farther away from you.

We stopped in based solely on the fact that we wanted sushi and it was nearby. I was pleasantly surprised at how good everything was. The shogun role was excellent and spicy. The winds were great as well. Also, the staff is super friendly. Highly recommended.

Bento Moto is truly wonderful. A few weeks before visiting this establishment, I vacationed in Japan and got to experience authentic Japanese cuisine for the first time. After coming back home and eating all the western food I could handle, I started to miss the taste and “heart” that’s poured into so many authentic Japanese dishes. One afternoon I decided to join my coworkers for lunch at Bento Moto. I ordered the chicken katsu ramen and chicken kushiyaki and they were both delicious. For a moment, I felt as if I was back in Japan eating the best bowl of Ramen I’ve ever had inside a tiny and tightly packed restaurant. The food here is 10/10 and if you’re looking for something that reminds you of Japan … or makes you want to visit Japan …. then you have to check this place out! The ambiance and overall vibe inside was very cool and I especially loved the tiger mural on the sushi bar wall. The staff/chefs were also 10/10, very respectful, kind, and personable. Great experience overall!

My wife and I have been on a sushi kick. Was just looking around and found this shop. It’s actually really neat! It has a Japan backstreet bars vibe. Got some photos as well. The staff was awesome and was able to talk through the options. The sushi was spectacular. Overall a great place for a quick sushi dinner.

This restaurant is a must visit! The workers were extremely nice and the place was very clean and inviting. The decorations were great too! The food is filling and it has so much flavor. The portions were reasonable. This place is absolutely great, I would definitely visit again!

So so delicious. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The website was really easy to use and order from. The food was great. The gyoza was tender, the meat skewers tender and flavorful. The tempura was a bit large but cooked perfect. I loved that the ramen broth came separately so the noodles were perfect. The rice was just the right amount of sticky. Honestly it was all so good. The only problem was when I was carrying it the bento tipped and some sauce got on the sushi .

Do not order delivery from this place. I ordered a vegetarian bento box and they sent chicken and then the owner was rude basically saying it was not his problem, an employee made a mistake. Maybe dining in is ok because you can send the food back. I will never order from or go to this place again. There are many fine Asian restaurants to choose from. No need to go to this bad one. By the way, the rice was ok; that was the meal I ended up with.
