We came here on recommendation from a friend and grabbed some takeout. The food here is fantastic – we had a quesadilla and tried a few of their tacos. Everything was spot on. They included mounds of fresh cilantro and cebolla on the tacos and such a generous portion of meat that I had to munch those tacos from both ends. The meats were nicely browned and spiced. The fajitas are alright, but not as good as the tacos.
It is definitely worth a try.

Curious as to how this place hasn’t been shut down by the health department? Food was absolutely disgusting. Took a few bites and walked out. No chips and salsa, restaurant smelled terrible, and food quality was poor. Would not trust that the food here is being handled properly, save yourself and don’t eat it.

The food was amazing! As a Mexican student at Purdue, I was so happy to find a place that gave me a little piece of home. I’d recommend the tacos, chilaquiles, the horchata (Mexican rice milk drink), and the green salsa. Remember to put lime on your tacos for an extra bit of freshness and juiciness!

Yum!! Fresh and tasty tacos. I had two al pastor and one carne asada. The salsa has a little bit of heat, but is packed with authentic flavor.

The food is okay but the service is awful. Nobody told us the menu prices changed so after they bring out the food the price is $40 instead of $20. If you pay with card they add their own tip , they say it’s fees from the card reader but it’s an additional $6. They’ll charge you for additional items and not give them to you . If you ask questions about the price they get angry and short with you and they refused to give us a receipt. El rodeo is much cleaner, better service, better food and better prices .

Great authentic Mexican food, great prices, huge portions, and our server was so sweet and attentive. Delicious margaritas, too! It’s definitely a hole-in the-wall type place that’s easily missed, but it certainly does not disappoint. I will absolutely be returning!

We did take out. There was a little bit of a wait to get the food but it was worth it. I had the 3 Amigos Tostada and I 100% recommend this dish, it was great flavors and crispy tortillas. The rice was a little basic and the beans were liquidy but it was delicious. The green spicy salsa is amazing! The banana milk is also a great way to complete the meal. Good Mexican cuisine.
