Bri is truly the best! We’ve visited Bistro 120 many times, and every single visit with her is outstanding. We try to come in every Sunday, and she’s a big part of why we keep coming back. Whether we’re chatting with her at the bar or enjoying her attentive service at the table, she always makes our experience exceptional.

The food is amazing—especially the wagyu steak—and you can always count on a perfectly crafted espresso martini.

Nice Oakdale bistro. On the way to Groveland, CA we stopped in Bistro 120 for lunch and we were not disappointed. The bistro is well designed and has a nice modern vibe. The bistro has a good selection of items on the menu, and a nice bar. The service and food quality and taste were also top notch. French dip with fries, chicken BLT with salad, clam chowder were all tasty. Jocelyn was our 5 Star server too.

DELICIOUS! The Brussels sprouts appetizer is special and a must try. Pictured are Chicken Piccata and Cedar Planked Salmon, both of which had incredible flavors. Looking forward to returning!

We got the tuna nachos as an appetizer. It was okay, but we had to ask for salt because it was not seasoned at all. Asking for salt is not a big deal, but at that price point, you would expect the food to be seasoned properly.

I had the French dip sandwich. It was okay, but for 30 smack-a-roos, it should have been more flavorful. Fries were okay.

My wife had the burger with no bun and no fries (fries are not gluten free at this location). Burger was seasoned okay… it tasted like a normal burger, nothing extraordinary.

Bottom line, food is good but probably not worth the price point. I’ve definitely have had better food for cheaper. Limited gluten free options.

Snake Rivers wagyu New York strip was worth every penny and paired perfectly with the asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes. Maybe order your steak a little more done than normal as my medium rare was more rare than not.

On 7-2-25 after being on the road for several hours a party of ten is hard to accommodate at the last minute.
Bistro120 made out visit very pleasant and relaxing. Out waitress was very professional and was thinking ahead regarding orders and appetizers.
Appetizers came out and shortly after the meals. Food was great.
**Atmosphere was great. Not too loud not crowded and the waitress and the helpers were great and professional.
** cleanliness was great. I could not believe that a place out in the country part that I consider country would have a place that was very clean and the bathrooms were or are a solid 10.
All in all we were very impressed and our bellies were full.
Attention management or owners. Stay on top of the restaurant and it will be around a very long time.

We really enjoy this place and come here often. The atmosphere is absolutely incredible and clearly where the majority of the investment went. That said, what would take this to a true five-star experience across the board is expanding the menu. The options are very limited, and the burger was dry. They also removed the grilled cheese and tomato soup special, which was honestly the main reason I kept coming in. I was genuinely disappointed to see it gone and I wasn’t alone. While I was dining yesterday, I heard two other guests ask about it as well. Management, the people have spoken. Bring it back.

Service can be slow at times, so if you’re in a hurry, I recommend sitting in the bar area. Overall, it is good food with an even better atmosphere. A broader menu would elevate this place from great to exceptional.

I have loved this restaurant in the past and had great service but today was pretty bad. I informed my server we had a nut allergy and my fiance ordered the same meal she ordered last time but she had a reaction. We informed them and the server acted like we were making it up. In general she gave us bare bones service. This was the worst service I’ve ever had in this restaurant even excluding this allergy incident. I was pretty upset so I paid cash on my $180 tab. I left $200 and we left. The server chased us out telling us we forgot our change when we were pulling out. That was extremely disrespectful. Idk if I’ll ever come back just because of the level of disrespect.

We came for an early lunch. The service was great. The food was okay. My chicken BLT had nice crispy bread, but it would have been much better if the grilled chicken was warm. My soup was very good with a nice texture and spices. The steak and chicken salads were overpriced and not very creative.
