I honestly love Adventure Island and this Mango Joe’s. Today we got a lounger and we had to wait at least 20 minutes with 2 small kids. I understand they are busy but when I asked a restaurant employee where tge guy was he stated I would just have to wait bc he’s off doing other stuff. Luckily when I returned we were serviced quick. The guy explained he sat a big family and had to make room. We ate there as well. The ribs were good. A worker did give us tye wrong info about the meal plan. But the girl at the register told us we get a meal a side a drink and dessert in case anyone wants to know
She was fairly new but very nice about it. The place was nor stocked and I did have to clean off my own table. The ribs were hit and good. I had to ask for sauce cups, napkins, and utensils die to the area not being stocked. A guy did tell an employee the same one I asked for help with the desk. He disregarded everything the customer said which is why me and multiple guests had to wait and constan6asl for things. He would fill 1 thing at a time amd disappear so you had to fine him to ask for other things. He did help me scan my cup though. On a lighter note this is a pretty busy park so be mindful of the employees

Food was cold, and we could taste and smell the OLD grease in our food. They really need to start changing the frying and cooking oils more often. I know it’s an expense and you try to get the most out of the cooking oils, but EWW! Gross! Careful, because you don’t know who comes through those gates as a food and restaurant critic. The food was barely edible. And I don’t want belly aches while I’m trying to have fun with my kids. Also, slushy machines need to be fixed because cups won’t be bought if cups can’t be refilled.

Food has to be from the park. You are already cornering customers, so for the prices you are charging there needs to be service, professionalism and one would dare say…. even a smile. Why so grumpy from the kitchen to the cashier???
No cleaning of tables, not much care demonstrated by staff. Is it attitude, lack of training of a pay problem?
A big missed opportunity to impress on a otherwise good experience on the park.

So this was my first time at Adventure island considering I don’t live in the state of Florida. Went to Mango Joes after looking online for food and thought this would be a good place to eat with a nice atmosphere. After waiting in line and being jumped in line by 4 people that extended my wait time even more. Finally get up to the food and there was hardly nothing on the counter except chicken nuggets and fries. Waited FOREVER for the chicken to come out. So when I realized I could order online for mobile pick up I placed my order online and went to the window to see if it was ready and one of the workers came to the window and said with FULL attitude “what are you waiting for” I said “a mobile order” she said “what order” and slapped her hand on the counter, told her my name she said “I can’t hear you” so I showed her my phone with the order and she deep sighed and stormed off. Came back and damn near tossed my plate at me so I walked away. Not to mention I ordered the half chicken with fries and a coke. The meal itself was like 25 dollars. But for a 20 oz COKE IT WAS 7 DOLLARS !!!!! In total my meal with a drink was 31 dollars after taxes. From the attitude down to the over priced food made it dampen my mood and turned the atmosphere sour to me. Probably won’t come back.

I went there this Saturday to go eat with my family of 10. We had purchased meal vouchers with our tickets. I went to guest relations and inquired about what we were allowed to get whether sides, desserts, drinks, etc.. guest relations told me I was allowed to get a side, a meal and a drink. Once I was in line for mango Joe’s, I asked one of the employees before grabbing any of the food. She wasn’t able to answer my questions so she asked for help. She returned and told me that we were allowed to get aside the meal and a drink. So we got her food and came to check out. Natalie, one of the individuals working on the cashiers didn’t know what she was doing. She had to ask multiple people for help. It became very frustrating once again show them our meal voucher and then it turned out that we had to pay for some of our stuff because it was not covered under our meal voucher. Our drinks weren’t included either. I was very bothered, I went through a lot of people to get an answer, and it was still wrong at the end of the day. Employees need to receive the proper training. They ran out of ice. The dining tables were very dirty. There was trash everywhere.

My first time at Adventure Island, I used the all day meal pass to enjoy the restaurants. The second restaurant I went to was Mango Joes. I placed my entree on the tray and chose the grapes as a side I also had a cookie and the choice is either a side OR dessert (my mistake) after giving up the cookie the grapes spilled all over the tray and I felt completely defeated and overwhelmed by the crowd of people. I took my drink cup to the table after filling it with sprite, it was carbon water absolutely no flavor. I am an overworked healthcare worker that spent money I didn’t have to have some fun with the family. My reaction to the poor food service was the reason we left the park only two hours into our day. I really regret buying a pass for all of 2024 and the meal pass and the quick que. they’re all upgrades that aren’t necessary. Take my experience as a warning. You will have a bad day and feel defeated such as myself.

Well I can’t tell you how good the food is because we went at 4pm and they were closed. Seeing as though the park is only open until 5 I’d say that is unacceptable. Especially when you purchase the all-day dining and they are 1 of 2 places to choose from. Oh, and there aren’t hours posted anywhere. So if you want to eat here and you have the all day dining, eat there first. The sea side cafe however is open the entire time. But we will now be eating there twice in one day. The food there is good.
