While enjoying a weekend in Hendersonville, my wife and I discovered Verri’s. Verri’s is located tucked away in an understated building. Upon entering you are whisked into a warm and welcoming setting. I will preface my comments by stating that I grew up in the Bronx, NY and enjoyed some of the finest Italian restaurants on Arthur Ave. We ordered eggplant parmigian and shrimp fra diavolo. The flavors in both dishes were on point. Our server was excellent and when ordering she recommended we upgrade our pasta to homemade fettuccine. It was a great decision! The pasta was absolutely delicious and enhanced our meals. In addition the portions were generous. The only desire would be, to be able to order a decaf cappuccino to top off my meal. We look forward to a return visit in the future.

I’m on vacation with my whole family. We decided to get Italian food for dinner. We came across Verri’s Italian Ristorante and it was so delicious and we had a great experience! Hands down the best Italian food I have had. If you are wanting dessert I recommend their tiramisu also the best I’ve ever had. A huge positive is how fast our food came out. Our waitress was Madison and she was so sweet!! She made sure to check up on us and made the experience even better. Definitely recommend to anyone and will be coming back on my future vacations here.

Best Lasagna (5 stars) we’ve had in years. Chicken Marsala on Angelhair pasta was good (4 stars). Great service by Kate. Bread service was brought out to our table with oil & herb dipping sauce. Loved the atmosphere and Italian Dean Martin music. Reservations can be made through Open Table. We went around 4:30 pm without a reservation.

The food was fantastic! Next time I will make reservations. We were able to sit at the bar and enjoyed everything. The meatballs were delicious and beyond tender. My son’s fettuccine Alfredo was tasty, and my eggplant parmigiana was phenomenal! I’ll be back!

My wife is Italian and comes from a big New York family. She critiques all the food. She had the pasta with shrimp. I had the chicken cacciatore. Appetizer was the best of all, fried artichokes. Our new good to Italian in Hendersonville, NC.

Interesting place as it once was Mona Lisa. Reservations at 5:30 pm turned into 6:45 pm but it is a soft opening for the restaurant. A new place so I expect some hiccups. My summary was slow service and just finished my salad so we shall see. The chicken Marsala looked delicious, but the mushrooms were undercooked, but the sauce was excellent and the chicken was tender. So I asked if the mushrooms could be cooked a little longer and I received a fresh plate with fewer mushrooms and the chicken was over cooked but the sauce yummy; I asked for more mushrooms and got them. Yummy! My husband had the veal and shrimp dish which he enjoyed. The calamari dish was flavorful, but chewy. And the salad was fresh. The overall experience was good, but they do have some fine-tuning to do. Ambience is OK, fresh, compared to what it was once before, as Mona Lisa. A few noises actually bothered me, the doors going to the kitchen made lots of noise as you were sitting at the bar and the front door because all of them rock back-and-forth and slam and I don’t think anybody recognizes that but it’s distracting.

Charming local Italian restaurant. Aspen took great care of us. Our eggplant parm and shrimp dish were delicious. Cocktails and wine were great. Kitchen generous with amount of pasta and sauce. We would definitely return.

Stopped in to check it out for dinner and it was good, although they don’t have paper menus for you to take home and parking was difficult. My Greek Salad had great flavor and fresh ingredients. My pizza was good and I could watch it being made from the bar seat I was at. Bar tender was quick and super friendly all around. It did seem like a reservation was strongly recommended for a table but I was able to get a seat at the bar with no wait. Bar area had the chairs a bit too close to each other but otherwise fine.
