A Mexican menu following original recipes offers you the taste you find in a restaurant in Mexico. We use tortillas prepared with nixtamalized Heirloom Corn to get the best tacos, enhanced with a variety of our house salsas, sides, and desserts to complete the experience. We cook everything from scratch, we don’t use processed foods. We included vegetarian and healthy options in our menu, but also some of the popular street food we couldn’t leave out. La Unica, Mexican Eatery is such a gem! So glad to have found this spot. Kind and thoughtful service. Highly recommend the pork and rajas (not pictured). The salsas are delicious too! If you are looking for something for extra spicy be sure to request some hot sauce. Looking forward to returning and trying other menu items! Happy to have found a new fave spot.

Its name says it all. A unique restaurant! You won’t find a better place for authentic Mexican food. Tacos, flautas, quesadillas, empanadas… I’ve tried them all, and each one is better than the last. And I can’t forget to mention the warm, friendly, family-like service provided by Rafa and his entire team. A must-visit or the best delivery option to enjoy with your family.

One of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to! Even as a vegetarian, I was impressed by how many delicious options there were. Every dish was perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavor. Definitely don’t miss getting the tres leches, it melts in your mouth and was not overly sweet! The owner, Raphael, was incredibly warm and welcoming—it was such a joy chatting with him. Can’t wait to come back!

AMAZING—La Unica was absolutely outstanding! Every Tuesday, they offer a fantastic “Taco Tuesday” deal: buy two tacos, get one free. We sampled all the tacos they offer, and each one was phenomenal in its own unique way. The guacamole was unbelievably good, and we also indulged in all three desserts, which were mind-blowing! Even the salsas were exceptionally flavorful. This is the best Mexican food I’ve ever had in this area. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The wonderful gentleman who served us guided us through the entire menu with expertise. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

I catered from here for a group of 10. Rafa was so incredibly helpful and accommodating with our order. The food came out delicious and so incredibly fresh. Prices are very reasonable as well. We did a build your own taco bar. Our guests loved everything! Especially the birria and guacamole. No pics, sadly. We ate as soon as it arrived!

Eating at this restaurant is like traveling to Mexico without leaving Pennington. The experience is not only gastronomic but also visual, thanks to a carefully designed decoration that makes you feel like you’re there from the very first moment. The owner is very friendly and charming, always attentive and welcoming, which makes the visit even more special. The service is warm and personable, and the food is simply delicious. In addition, you can enjoy the food at the restaurant itself or order it for delivery, with the same great quality every time. Definitely a place worth returning to.

Delicious, simple, and authentic! The fish tacos are light, crispy and flavorful. The Rajas Tacos stole the show for me. Deep marinated flavors with queso fresco and a flash of heat were exactly what I was looking for. To round out the meal I tried the sweet potato empanadas with chimichurri- soft yet crispy and well balanced with the fresh herbs against the sweet. They do a paella offering on occasion so make sure to ask about it!

Let me tell you, I found this place on a Google search and a whim on the way home and thank my sweet taste buds I did. It’s a really small cute small business, the chef/owner took the time to explain and make some recommendations, and was incredibly welcoming and helpful (the people who ran the food were also friendly). We got the street corn which was amazing and fresh and just soooo good. The Asada steak Tacos were packed with meat and flavor. The chicken fajitas were juicy and delicious. You can tell the tortillas are made fresh and the salsa on the tables…. amazing, although I could use a touch more spice on the spicy one, the flavor is on point. Probably my favorite though was the beef empanadas… I think he said they were from Chile, but I don’t care. They were delicious. If you’re into mint, you should give the pineapple mint juice they have a try. While it’s not my thing I think you might really enjoy it. Definitely try this place. It’s my new taco spot for life.
