Villa Fresh Italian Kitchen

  2.4 – 24 reviews   • Pizza restaurant

Villa Italian Kitchen was founded with one store, one family, and one concept in 1964 when our founder, Michele “Michael” Scotto brought his authentic old-world recipes from Naples, Italy to New York City. Michele’s commitment to hospitality, quality ingredients (like homemade dough, 100% whole milk mozzarella and fresh sauce), and the strict loyalty to his now famous recipes, built the business. Since our first Villa Pizza next to the CBS/Ed Sullivan Theater on Broadway, our commitment to quality and genuine hospitality remains the basis of our foundation.

Counter-serve pizza chain with traditional pies & slices, plus pasta & other Italian staples.

Very rude staff that can’t understand when a customer request to use a different utensil when handling meatless food should be respected and acknowledged. ITS Called FOOD/ CROSS CONTAMINATION and wonder why you feel sick after. Do better!

Awful. The staff is zero interested in doing a good job or even providing a service. I was just standing there, no one talked to me, pretending they don’t see me. They only speak Spanish but when they get a customer that doesn’t speak Spanish they don’t even try to help or understand. Super rude. When they do talk to you they look annoyed. Their priority is to talk among themselves and to their airport staff friends.

This place isn’t very good at all. Soggy pizza, dirty eating area. Sigh the challenges of airport eating.

Unfortunately this was the most dihsgusting, awful, vile, diabolical, horrendous, unappetizing, italian food I have ever had in my 67 years of living. The spaghetti tasted dull, the sauce was cold, and the bread was old. I am extremely disappointed in how this food was. It made me nauseous. I hope any readers reading this will learn from my experience and never ever eat there.

Absolutely a no go! Walked up asked for two slices of pizza with topping. Watched server take those two slices to the oven and then I paid. Got my two slices and got to the gate to find they were two cold cheese slices. What a joke!

$6.27 for a slice of pepperoni pizza after discount from $6.45 is an assault … Luckily I have the last word and this will be the very last time I throw away a penny at this place. BTW the pizza was terrible !

Great place to carb load before a long day of flying. Had the chicken parm 1 day and extra cheese pizza another. Both excellent. They do a great job with red sauce, not too heavy, more southern Italian style.

Do not eat here. Pizza is inedible when fresh and it’s always stale, so eating here is actually worse than going hungry. Price – in the airport, you expect to pay too much for everything but this is even more extortionate than most places.
